I’ve been to Coqui Kitchen several times now and wow, it keeps getting better. Every dish is made with love and you can taste it in the best way possible. The birria grilled cheese is a must get, as well as the chicken skewers. Honestly anything you get will be amazing. They must be on your “go to” list!

Food is great, but the kitchen is a little slow. However everything I had from this place is worth the wait. The host was very friendly, and attentive, the place is very clean. If in the area and in the mood for authentic Puerto Rican food, then this is the place for you. Try the pinchos (pork skewers). Also the Tripleta sandwich is a hit.

First time and definitely won’t be the last . First, the service was amazing , friendly and patient to explain any questions we had about the menu . Secondly, the food was excellent. Portions & flavoring was perfect . Really reminded me of my abuelas cooking I had the breakfast boricua, my husband tried the breakfast burrito and we had ordered a scrambled egg & bacon for our toddler. We also shared an order of the boricua French toast and everything was so tasty! Came with a guava sauce and we asked for dulce de leche as well.

I ordered take out, I ordered a birria grilled cheese and crazy fries. It came out to over $30. The food amount was decent enough for the price and the grilled cheese is phenomenal. The way the wrapper the grilled cheese the bottom bun was absolutely drenched though and practically fell apart. The crazy fries are honestly just not good, the fry cut is just greasy and lacking in flavor. They also charged $4.50 for a 12 fl oz red bull. All in all probably worth the price if you sit in, not worth takeout. Don’t get the fries unless you like softer decently greasy ones. They should sell there drinks at a non profit to make the price more reasonable.

I had breakfast here and loved it! Everything is affordably priced, delicious, service was wonderful, and we were served quickly. I also like that they do weekly specials. I can’t wait to return and support this small business that’s providing downtown Pittston with a cute, cozy, much-needed little breakfast, brunch, or lunch spot.

I went here with three coworkers and we all loved our meals. I got the pork skewers with a side salad–the pork was delish! The rest had the pork rice bowl, breakfast platter and the pork grilled cheese–all great. And the sweet mama served us with her month-old baby wrapped to her chest–she’s supermom!
