I decided to give Carlitos in the Northland a try because I really like the Raytown location. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed with my order. I ordered nachos and five tacos, but only received three. The nachos barely had any meat or cheese, and the tacos were just as skimpy.
My boyfriend even mentioned that the bag felt unusually light, but we didn’t think much of it until we got home and saw the food. This experience was frustrating and unacceptable. I could have spent my money elsewhere and received a much better meal.

Just wow .went their to try something new and boo..wish I didn’t come..besides them not having the best customer service, the food was disappointing.had the nachos, and well…taco bell has better nachos had the enchiladas, and I feel I would have had better ones from a TV dinner tray .I wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Great customer service, clean. I was pleasantly surprised I hadn’t been here in years but I drove by I decided to stop I’m glad I did. I had the enchiladas cheese and onion and nacho cheese dip with a side of chips. Rice was no bueno. Beans yummy. Great vegetarian option

Very clean, nice staff, food was $22 for 2 people. Quesadilla and hard shell tacos were less than a Taco Bell meal. Empty at the time we went for early lunch so fast service.

I love this place! Not because it’s the best tasting Mexican food, or that it’s authentic. It’s classic American-Mexican, like your Midwestern mom used to make. Not giant hot plates covered in cheese and grease. Simple good food.

First time here, wasn’t sure what to expect from a Mexican restaurant on a Tuesday night that wasn’t overcrowded. Turns out it’s fast food style. Go up to the counter, place your order, pay for it, at down and wait for them to call your name. Food is on or in disposable containers with disposable plasticware.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though. It didn’t feel much like a Mexican restaurant, but the food tasted better than some others I’ve been to recently.
I had the cheese and onion enchiladas and as I mentioned, they tasted better than the enchiladas I had last Tuesday and were less expensive as well.
They serve Coke products here. I did not use the rest room. There is no dedicated motorcycle parking. I’m not certain it’s all that handicap friendly. There was no music, but they did have a TV going and it was nice and quiet inside. Everything seemed pretty clean.
Not a bad little place at all.

Always a good idea to stop by this place for good eats! Sadly, the fryer was down so I was unable to get my favorite chimichanga. However, I got something new (Big Ben Burritos) and was so glad I did! AMAZING!
Service was great and the chips and salsa was fantastic! Thanks again for a great dinner!

I’ve been coming to Carlitos my entire 28 years of life. I have always gotten the Carlitos nachos, they’re so simple yet so delicious. They are always what I picture when I think of nachos and always what I crave when I want nachos. I went in for lunch today, bought a large drink and then realized they were out of Dr Pepper. They heard me talking about wanting it and they were completely out inside the store, so they tried going next door to buy it but they were out too. So they drove up the street to the Dollar General and bought Dr Pepper for me to have. How considerate! I know other businesses wouldn’t have gone to that length and I appreciate them for doing so. I’ll always be a Carlitos fan!
