What a great new sushi spot! All of the fish was fresh, and they had a great variety on their menu, whether you’re looking for sushi or a dinner. We enjoyed the omakase experience, and the chicken teriyaki was some of the best I’ve had. They also had a fun fish waffle with ice cream for dessert. Such a great addition to Middletown for both dine-in or takeout!

Absolutely amazing! This sushi restaurant blew me away. Every single dish was delicious — truly some of the best-tasting food I’ve had. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavor. The gyoza were incredible, and the dipping sauce was out of this world.
The value is unbeatable, too. Their lunch specials are fantastic: only $13.50 for three rolls, and the bento box (also just $13.50!) was huge and packed with variety.

I was so excited to try this place since I read so many glowing reviews. I can say that they weren’t wrong! Although they seemed to be really busy with online take out orders, the service was wonderful. I got the omakase and some appetizers. I got spicy kani salad and jumbo steamed shumai. Next time I want to sit at the bar so I can ask what each piece of sushi is. I can’t wait to go back, I will definitely be a regular customer!

This was the greatest sushi experience I have ever had! The chef was absolutely wonderful and kept serving us amazing pieces all night long. They stayed open later just for us to explore their menu and tell us stories about how they make their sushi. After learning my preferences he kept making my favorite types of pieces and suggesting things I would like more. The fish to rice ratio was absolutely perfect and the flavors were impeccable. I ordered the Omakase and it was absolutely incredible. I will be going back within the next few days, I can’t get enough!! Thank you Sushi Man!
