Stopped in for a quick lunch on our way to Jackson and had quick and friendly service. Food was as described on the menu and a good value. Tasted nice and fresh.

The brisket tacos and staff working today were top notch! Very professional bar service. My ticket time was less than 15 minutes. The reviews on here are a mixed bag, but I thought it was awesome!

9/26/23 …. We got there at 5:45 p.m.Placed our order shortly after being seated. After 45 minutes, and asking the “owner” (we assume) about the wait of our food, she gave us an excuse of the cook being alone in the kitchen. However, she continued to chat it up with other customers instead of going to kitchen and assisting her cook. Finally we received our appetizer, chicken tacquitos. They were good. But
5 min later our main dish came out that was not at all like described on menu. Main dish lacked all flavor BOTH entrées were lackin ingredients that were on the description on THE MENU! We brought this to our waitresses attention. While waiting for a response from owner we decided we were done and had no desire to finish our tasteless meals. At the register the waitress informed us, that the owner (who was standing right beside her) said since we weren’t satisfied with our food, all we had to pay for was our one double margarita. $17.50
WE WILL NOT BE BACK!

10/10 for food. I’ve had a few dishes and the rest of our groups has said the food is good.

The restaurant could use another employee but that’s not always possible based on local willingness to work.

The sign is in a bad placement and cutting the trees in the lot next door and away from the sign would improve sight of the location.

The Frisco burger was amazing. Why there are empty seats here is beyond amazing. It was 1/2 of burger night tonight so I tried it. It also has a full Mexican cuisine I will go back and try, but a lot of what I ate appeared to be fresh and hand made. It took a second for food but gave you time to drink the Margherita. Truly a place being missed.

Our first time eating here. It was about 8pm when we got there. Seated immediately, waitress was really friendly, my wife, stepdaughter, and myself all had pretty much tasteless, bland, food. I got ground beef enchiladas, my wife ordered chicken enchiladas, and stepdaughter ordered shrimp quesadilla. Shrimp had NO flavor, less than ive even experienced with shrimp cocktail. I couldnt even finish 1 or my 2 enchiladas. My wife mentioned multiple times she hopes none of us get sick. Her enchiladas were really bland, even with an overabundance of cheese sauce on both our enchiladas. Best thing we had was probably the black beans they brought us for an additive. Rice was clumped together, badly, in the shape of an ice cream scoop. On the positive, when i informed the manager she did credit our entire meal. So, kudos for that at least because i couldnt appropriately express how i wouldve felt for paying 59 and some change for 3 sub-par meals, before tip. Understandingly, everyone has good/bad days, on/off days, including myself.just FYI

I drove one hour west of my home to dine here for a second time. The food is delicious and authentic, and the ambience simple, spacious, and welcoming. I arrived late afternoon and had the opportunity to chat with my server who was also the owner’s daughter. This wonderful family moved from the Dominican Republic 16 years ago and brought with them some very original versions of Mexican cuisine. The chips and salsa are incredibly flavorful and delicious, and I enjoyed the generous fish tacos crafted with large chunks of fried Tilapia and made in traditional fashion. The black beans and rice are wonderful. I enjoy returning here because the staff isn’t rushed, and they take excellent care of their customers. This is a place where you can linger, relax, savor every bite, and let the frenzied world of Nashville pass you right on by!
