If you’re looking for real, home cooked food, this is the spot! Any time of day is a good time to eat here. In my opinion they have the best breakfast around, short of eating at your Mamaw’s house!!

Judy’s Grocery & Deli is an absolute gem! It’s the kind of mom-and-pop store that brings back the atmosphere we grew up with—warm, welcoming, and full of character. The staff here are some of the friendliest, most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet, always ready with a smile and genuine conversation.
The food? Incredible. Fresh, home-cooked, and full of flavor—every meal tastes like it came right out of grandma’s kitchen. Prices are more than reasonable, and the portions are generous. They even have a cozy eat-in area if you’re not in a rush, perfect for soaking in that small-town charm.
Highly recommend stopping in—whether you’re looking for a great meal, friendly faces, or just that old-fashioned hometown feel, Judy’s delivers it all!

Great service and friendly staff. Came just to try the hotdogs…and I have to say Amazing hotdogs. It will be hard not to have one everyday.

My husband and I both ordered their bacon cheeseburger with potato wedges. It was delicious! The meat was cooked perfect and the toppings were fresh and tasted like they were fresh from the garden. We will be going back to eat again!!!

These people need to do better. 3 times I’ve ordered food here and every time something is messed up or missing. Food isn’t to bad if they don’t screw it up. But for real if you don’t want to have to go back for something, just go to Big O’s.

Love the thick cut bologna. Just picking up a few groceries. Great roast beef for sandwich making.

Ok, truth: we caught this place on the Appalachian Channel on YouTube, and made the side bar to go there on our way home from Gatlinburg. Unassuming, local, and yet familiar, we were greeted by a familiar face (one we recognized from the show!) and had a delightful lunch in the half of the store dedicated to food service! We spoke with Martha and she was even more charming in real life than on the video! This place is a hidden gem- while I want them to thrive, I don’t want them to become so popular, they lose the quaintness. But keep it up, Judys. You guys made everything taste like I was at a church picnic- honest and pure- that I drive miles to find. And I did. And I hope to be back one day! Blessings from Carmel, IN!
