I would definitely recommend other to give them a try. Very delicious food , extremely friendly staff and the atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable and inviting. Today we tried… The bbq swine nachos , brisket torta , meatloaf sandwich and a sweet treat of vanilla cheesecake. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed everything we got! The nachos were very yummy , The brisket torta and the meatloaf sandwich it’s tough to say which one was better because they were both very unique in their own way they both were incredibly delicious and if I had to describe the brisket torta it almost had in my opinion a Cali type of vibe or spin on it very fresh taste. The meatloaf sandwich it filing and cozy feeling could definitely see eating this on a very cold day and if you want something warm and tasty. And the cheesecake was very delicious and not too sweet. Most definitely going to return.

I stopped in Smoketown Blues for a quick drink and an appetizer before a later appointment. Carrie Ann the general manager greeted me warmly as I walked in immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. I ordered off the appetizer menu choosing crispy cauliflower with yum yum sauce house made and prepared fresh. My order arrived fast and was out of this world, the batter also house made was light and not greasy. I am definitely coming back to try their barbecue and from my initial experience I am excited to explore the menu further. Honestly most restaurants are cookie cutter creative cooking is rare in any especially barbecue Smoketown Blues is one of the exceptions.

If you haven’t been to SmokeTown Blues, put it on your list! We hadn’t been there since it first opened and went back this week. Wow we loved it! Casual vibe, with great country tunes playing, nice little rustic bar area, amazing food and wonderful service. Ribs, brisket, and sausage tasted amazing. Try the cornbread it’s delicious! And they now have a full bar with a build your own Old Fashioned!! Rumor has it live music on Thursdays as well.

I don’t know if this was just a really off night, but being Friday night you generally expect top performance at a restaurant. The food and drinks were extremely disappointing. I consider the gauge of a good smokehouse to be the brisket and pulled pork, so that’s what I ordered. The brisket was technically smoked but still somehow quite flavorless and dry. Perhaps if you like very wet brisket you can drown in it sauce, so I gave the OG sauce a shot. Seems like they weren’t sure whether the sauce was supposed to be sweet and sour or BBQ which did not excite. The pulled pork was moist, but had one note and one note only, “sweet.” My wife decided for a simpler fare and ordered a burger medium. The done temp was well into well-done. Fries were not salted at all. The drinks didn’t help the situation. The long island was, quite honestly, the worst I can recall ever having. Not sure how to quite describe it except to say it tasted like weak sweet tea with a tiny splash of triple sec (maybe?). My wife’s Washington apple was a bit less disappointing, but neither of us had ever had one be pulpy which was just a strange experience. Great concept, staff trying, but I would t go back and couldn’t possibly recommend anyone else go.

We stopped in about an hour before closing, and despite the late visit and a few menu items being sold out, the staff still welcomed us with genuine kindness. Everything we ordered was made from scratch and absolutely delicious, you can really taste the care in every dish. We had the crispy cauliflower as our appetizer and each had the ooey gooey brisket melt. Maria the chef and owner did an amazing job!
I can’t remember our servers name unfortunately but she did great as well!!
We enjoyed our visit so much that we’ll gladly make the hour long drive again. A restaurant that treats you well and serves amazing food is definitely worth returning to!

Service was good the Drunken Philly I ordered was the worst BBQ I’ve ever eaten. Being from Texas I know a bit about good BBQ. The brisket was way overcooked. The onion rings were pathetic. I threw out over 1/2 the sandwich because it was inedible. Even the BBQ sauce was thin. Don’t waste your money here.

The first date night of 2025 at SmokeTown Blues BBQ was awesome! Service was personal and above par!
The flatbread appetizer known as “Vampire Repellent” was exceptional! Great flavors and textures.
My wife has a proclivity for pulled pork and she tried theirs, and as she stated when I asked how it was, “I’m not mad about it!” She even said her fries smelled amazing. She doesn’t just hand out compliments like that.
I had the Ooey Gooey Brisket Melt, and like her, I was not mad about it. It was excellent l, as was the coleslaw.
They also offer a nifty selection of deserts of which we tried the lemon bar and raspberry bar. Once again my wife’s reaction was one of being impressed.
Thank you SmokeTown Blues BBQ, it was a great experience!

Went to Smoketown Blues last night. Got right in. Sat at the bar. First off, the bartender is amazing. Makes delicious drinks every time. We ordered the Vampire Repellent flatbread for appetizer, the 3 meat trio, and then a S’mores brownie for dessert. Flatbread was one of the best things I have had. Big enough to be a meal, if you aren’t super hungry (ate half before I thought to take a picture). Then for dinner we split the 3 meat trio of pulled pork, 1/2 slab of ribs and brisket. Choose Tennessee whiskey sauce, Carolina gold sauce (recommended by our waitress), and original sauce. All 3 were delicious. Our 3 sides were onion rings, Mac & cheese, and corn pudding (recommended by our waiter, who was in training). All 3 were really good, my favorite being the corn pudding. Husband’s was the Mac & cheese. The platter with sides was plenty for both of us. Needless to say, we ate everything. Waitress came to our table with a box and we were like, oh, we ate it all!! lol! The brownie was perfect to top it off. It came warmed up, with a brownie, chocolate sauce like in the brownie and marshmallows. Wasn’t too sweet but chocolately enough after a meal. Meal was delicious and service was awesome. That was our 3rd time eating there and we will definitely be back. If you haven’t tried it, you should.

We had the most wonderful experience here tonight. The food was absolutely amazing. Super fresh and full of flavor. Great cocktail options (full bar)and the most friendly staff. We will definitely be coming back to try even more food and bring our kids to enjoy it. The atmosphere was very relaxing and laid back which is super nice and they have amazing views of the park downtown.

Great comfortable atmosphere, warm lighting, and music was perfect volume- not super loud like many restaurants downtown. My fiance and I shared the volcano fries and choose two combo meat plate; brisket beautifully smoked, fork tender. Spicy sausage was flavorful. The made In house sauces were unique and tastey, loved the mustard based and the alabama white sauce. Our server was attentive and personable. A new favorite for us.
