I wanted to visit this place for quite some time. I love Jazz and heard great things about the atmosphere. The entry was cool. And I loved the wine wall. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and clean and beautiful. Our server seemed to have too many tables. The drinks too some time to come out. One of the drinks I ordered first was not good. I ordered a different drink that was much better. The empanadas was delicious and hot. The scallops were undercooked in middle and not so good. Our food took a very long time to come out. We both ordered the Singapore. It was just ok. Presentation of all dishes was great. But taste was just ok. Overall the atmosphere and music was great. I think I would go back for happy hour and only to eat a different appetizer but not for anything else. We went for mom’s night out. Glad I went. Not in a rush to return.

I went on a date to this gem of a place. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised…
TOM, was absolutely devine. He welcomed us with curtesy and joy. My date and I both enjoyed dancing to his Jazz solo. The food and service were good. I highly recommend this spot for a romantic evening.

I didnt eat the food because I wasn’t hungry but it smelled amazing and ill be back to.try.the food for sure. The bartenders were very slow. The night I went we shut the bar down had every seat and the slacked on service one girl almost lost my debit card. My first round the girl was cheap with the pour I was upset. Second round was much better. I order a dessert and waited over 1 hour for it and she brought out the wrong one. The place is small no dance area which is sad cause its so tempting to dance. The entrance to this place is crazy.

Hidden gem in Lakeland. Should definitely have a bigger crowd. It’s such a great place to go hang out and vibe. Love how they have a Karaoke room for about 10 people. The drinks were really on point! Wonton Bocadillos and the Turrón were heaven on earth!

We decided to check this out for a girl’s night, we ended up trying a lot of things. Our table as a whole decided the appetizers were much better than our main entrees, nothing was bad just the appetizers were a notch above entrees. We especially loved the pork belly and ceviche. There were some different cocktails and a pretty large selection of wines. It’s definitely a slower paced place, our dinner took about three hours.

5 Stars for sure!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I passed by this place reading Latin and Asian food fusion, so I told the hubby, let’s try it and boy were we in for such a treat! It had a secret entrance and you needed a code to get in. We found out they just started letting kids go in a couple weeks ago because it used to be 21 and over. We’re so glad they changed that. They have a karaoke room that I’m totally going to book probably for my birthday! Obviously my girls had an awesome time dancing there. Amazing atmosphere, cool delicious food and our server’s name was Isaac and he was just great!!!

Food and drinks were great! Definitely in an odd location, but gave some of the speak easy vibes. Atmosphere isn’t as nice as expected, and the poorly maintained and dull fish tank in the middle of the room should be addressed. Very sad center piece.

La Muralla is like if Asia and Latin America had a foodie love child and I got custody of the appetizers for the night. We ordered every single app on the menu, because why not? When you’re faced with spring rolls on the same list as empanadas, you don’t choose… you commit. Zero regrets.

The flavors bounced back and forth. One bite had me thinking salsa and plantains, the next had me wondering if I needed chopsticks. It’s the kind of food that keeps your taste buds guessing in the best way possible.

Drinks? Same story. Mojitos and sake somehow coexisting on the same table, and it worked. Strong pours, fun presentation, and enough variety to keep us from ever saying “just water, please.”

The vibe is lively, laid-back, and dangerously good for groups. Between the staff keeping things moving and the food disappearing faster than we could cheers, it turned into one of those nights where you look around and realize everyone’s smiling.

If fusion had a hype man, it’d be La Muralla. Go hungry, bring friends, and prepare for your stomach to wonder what just happened… in the best way possible.

This newer speakeasy in Lakeland needs a lot more love!!

I had heard about Lan Gran Muralla opening through a coworker and finally tried it out recently, and was thoroughly impressed.

We made a reservation but went on a Thursday night and it wasn’t real busy- but if you go say on a Friday or Saturday night I can imagine it gets full so I’d try to reserve just in case.

You could come here for a full and delicious meal or just drinks. It’s definitely a little pricey but the food was fantastic so I was more willing to pay. If you go, you MUST try the duck wings. That’s right, DUCK wings, not chicken wings. Just absolutely so good and I have been daydreaming about them ever since. I will go back sincerely just for those, though I enjoyed everything we got here.

It’s kind of Korean-fusion inspired food, so they had sushi as well as other main entrees. I went for the sushi and was really happy with it- and the rolls were massive so you definitely got your money’s worth.

We of course also came to try the drinks. My friend and I were really disappointed when we ordered the “Pufferfish” drink as we had heard it’s served in a literal pufferfish glass, and it just came in a regular glass. Not sure if they stopped doing that or what but it was part of the reason we went, we had heard they serve some of the drinks in pretty fun fashion. And considering that drink in specific cost $20 it was extra disappointing.

But overall it’s a fun atmosphere in here but the music may be a little too loud. Between that and the dark setting it felt almost closer to a club vibe then a mysterious speak easy. But i’ll definitely still come back, to have the duck wings again and try more of the drink menu.

Awesome speakeasy in Lakeland. We went on a Sunday evening and it was pretty slow. I imagine Friday and Saturday nights its pretty busy. If you are into creative cocktails you must check this place out. Every dish we had was great. The 32oz pork chop/belly entree is enough for two, maybe three people. The octopus was nice and tender. The scallops were all cooked wonderfully, not dry like they get if overcooked.
