Order via Uber Eats. The oxtails very irregularly cut some super large (hard to eat) and some super small. The taste was pretty good. The rice was good with gravy but the cabbage has absolutely no seasoning on it and it wasn’t good.

Very pleasant experience 5 Stars! Today I ordered the Beef Stew with Rice & Peas and Mac & cheese, My husband had the Jerk Chicken. Both meals were delicious, well-prepared with lots of flavor, & the portions are Huge! Compliments to the Owners & Cooks! & the very kind owners came outside to help us when our car was having issues, we appreciate their hospitality & kindness. K & D is well worth the visit, give them a try!

Disgusting old beef patties and they charged me for a drink I never received then they wouldn’t refund me. They first called me to tell me no carrot juices and I asked for my order to be canceled and they still sent it just a singular beef patty I really wanted the carrot punches. he poor guy they had back there was ready to cash app me the lil 5.50 just terrible I declined, their response is reach out to DoorDash but whatever ai bot they have won’t let you take a picture of nothing. Awful experience I don’t even write reviews. Terrible customer service you can hear them speaking about you they’re lucky I have common sense cause I almost didn’t!

Picked up this soup on Saturday around 6 pm or 7 pm. Was told it was the last soup left. Went to pick it up because I ate here before and the soup was good. Went home to devour it and up floats a roach. No ma’am. Tried calling but they kept hanging the phone up. Never again. I threw up my insides after I was disgusted.

I was very pleased with the food. Coming from Brooklyn to live in nj I had my share of not so good Caribbean food and having there’s made me feel like I got it from home.. I’ve had their large oxtail dinner with rice n peas with plantains $18 and medium curry chicken with rice n peas with plantains it was a little spicy but not unbearable $11.. each tray of food had more than enough food I eat from each tray more than one time and it still was good.

I use to come here as a new East Orange resident. I moved but still make my way back. The jerk chicken is my favorite, portions are good. I tried the oxtail, they were too fatty for me however they were a good size. Kinda expensive but everything has gone up. Staff is always pleasant to me.
I feel like this is one of those cuisines where everyone has their nuances, just because you don’t like it don’t make it bad. Give it a try. Support Black Business with a good attitude….

The oxtail were cleaned amazingly. The quality was good as it had lots of meat and was seasoned well. I do recommend you ask for extra sauce. It came dry and Little to no sauce. The Mac and cheese was not baked southern style (just ok ). Overall quality is good.

I tried this place for the first time based off the reviews. I paid $25 for oxtails, which is typical now a days. I got mac & cheese , rice and and peas as well as plantains. The mac & cheese was great, but the plantains taste like PAPER. The young lady at the front was nice and accommodating. My boyfriend said the oxtails gave him the runs but it didn’t do that for me, I was fine.

Very disappointed in the amount of oxtails I received. I’m especially from Brooklyn I go to any Jamaican restaurant a large oxtail is no more than $23 and they bless your plate with oxtail you don’t even have to ask. I moved to Jersey I paid $29 for a medium oxtail and only received 4 pieces of oxtail and a full container of rice.

HORRIBLE. I ordered through Door Dash, which is basically like Uber Eats. Ordered a curry shrimp platter for $13. They filled the biggest part of my platter with cabbage and the side with shrimp. They gave me a tiny scoop of Mac and cheese which was the only decent thing in the platter. The shrimp had no sauce, and had no texture as shrimp, you literally didn’t even have to chew it broke down so weird. Didn’t even eat my shrimp, and WHO WASTES SHRIMP????!!! Do not waste your money nor time with this establishment!!!!!! If i could rate 0 stars i would.
