literally every time I went to eat there, there was hair in the food especially in the tamales for some reason. I’m a germaphobe and was just grossed out by it. When I asked to return it and get a new one she said no, still had to pay for it

A hidden secret in Indy. I first visited a few months ago with a friend and the pupusas are fresh and made to order. Visited again today and the pupusas were so good and fresh. It’s a small local owned business and there is usually only one waitress/cashier and one cook. The waitress is always pleasant when I am there, even when other patrons are rude or demanding. Not negating others experiences, but I have personally witnessed men speaking vulgar to her, being rude etc. One instance, there were a group of men continuously ringing the bell at the counter for service, when the waitress was clearly busy taking the order of another group of patrons. She was as patience as she could be, but instances like this would clearly make me frustrated as well.

I don’t know why there’s so many comments on how bad the service was but I had great customer service and was even asked how my meal was before I left. The food was delicious and they have probably the best chicharones I’ve ever had. The only con is the place is extremely small with no windows.

Amazing food. Service was a little slow, but the food more than made up for it. Get the$12 meal so you can try a little bit of everything. Two of us shared it and added a couple of papusas and were completely stuffed. No need to add the extra pupusas next time.

Surprise! When I paid the bill, the price was different from the menu. I complained and heard: Everything has increased and we haven’t updated the menu. They also didn’t say (Sorry) and didn’t tell us on the table. The food was delicious, but the experience is so bad. It is not about the money, I paid 20% as a tip and 20% increased price too, but they can’t do it. The increased the price around 20% and didn’t update the price at the menu and didn’t tell you…It is wrong…

I’ve been here once and the Pupusas where very delicious, worth coming back for. As for my other dish. The sour cream was not identical to Salvadoran cream, rice was burnt, mediocre dish. One of us got the 7 mars soup and I was told it was very good. If I come back it will only be for pupusas. The best I’ve found in Indianapolis so far.

The food here is okay which is not my problem. Over the last 6 months I’ve called a couple times to place a carry-out order. A woman answers my call, she says the restaurants name, and then I respond with I’d like to order carryout. Every single time, she hangs up on me. I’ve honestly called about 10 times over the last half-year and this is occurred every single time without failure. Is this is a language barrier issue? I’m not sure, but it is terribly rude to be hung up on. Either say you offer carryout or you don’t.

Delicious Salvadorean cuisine at very reasonable prices. The tamales were too soft – should have been firmer. The pupusas were great. Portion sizes are generous. Friendly staff.
