We tried the Chicken Philly, Steak Philly and spicy Turkey hoagie. They were all very flavorful and had nice portions. I really loved the spicy oils and peppers on the turkey hoagy. Oh and the lemonade it was perfectly sweet and flavorful. I mean it, Everything was so DELICIOUS!!! And, the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming! I am recommending this place to everyone. Visited 7/31/25 on a whim after picking up my wife from Midway. We stay in Morris and I tell you … this spot will be Thee Spot after a trip to Midway. The flavors are on point, period. Fresh. Hot. Friendly. The owners were kind and welcoming. I had the Super Philly add peppers, bbq chips and rootbeer and it was phenomenal – bursting with all the right dang flavors. My mother hit me with a mission to find the best black owned Philly cheese in the city & my choice was not a disappointment! I’m not sure whether to pat myself on the back or the owners of this establishment because from the moment we walked through the door they showed up & showed out! From the food to the service & the cleanliness of the facility. I personally give it all 10/10’s!
My sister loved it. My mother loved it. I loved it. Went in & bought 3 super steaks for the 3 of us, ended up getting a fourth. After tasting it, bought one for my coworker that was out hustlin today (she loved it as well), ended up getting two hoagies before I left as well (rivals Taurus flavors & my sister actually likes it more then theirs). Got a Strawberry/Mango, Pineapple Blueberry, Peach Mango & Red drink (tropical ) & they were all home made & bangin. I don’t really know what else to say, the food was great, I will be back, & I’m passing the information of this restaurant & great owners to everyone I know. Thank you two for the service.

I didn’t want to drive way out to Cal City. Looked for a local hoagie shop for the Bears game. Came across Flippin Flavors from a Google search, then I went to my Chicagoland food review source for more information… TikTok. Saw some videos and I said aight let’s give them a call and see what’s up.
I called the restaurant and ended up talking to the owner. She was very nice and pleasant. She guaranteed me I would love the sandwiches and that I would come back for more…… let me tell you something about people making guarantees to my belly…. Damn..She was Flippin right!!!
Presentation alone was 5 stars.
The sandwiches were a SUPER hit. I wish I would have taken a photo, but at this point all I have is an empty pan.

Oh my goodness, what can’t I say about this place. Food 10/10, the presentation of the cheesesteak was GREAT. It was wonderful cheesy, the meat was seasoned great. Absolutely NO complaints. The service and atmosphere tho….. 100/10. The owners are such great people that took pride in greeting you, checking up on you. And making sure your experience was great. WILL BE BACK SOON! Please give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

Me and my son was hungry no way to get food and the owner personally brung us food on her own dime and time …….. besides being beyond grateful the turkey hoagies and salad was amazing… great presentation and great food. I will forever be grateful and they have earned a life long customer.

I was in the area waiting for a friend & became hungry…. I attempted to get food from other establishments that was on the block & was unable to do so… Headed back to my vehicle & was getting ready to leave when I saw a couple come out of Flippin Flavors… I had never heard of this place & I love trying new things… I walked in & the guy behind the counter read my shirt PRAYER WARRIOR aloud & the conversation went from there, he was very polite, his customer service was impeccable I was highly impressed at how he read my phone number to me, in order to text my receipt…. When the young lady brought me my food, I had a brief conversation with her on the freshness of the sandwich I ordered, it was by far the best Philly Cheese steak I’ve tasted in a long time… I was very pleased with the experience & I can’t wait to stop by again to try more items from their menu 10/10 highly recommend

I ordered the Super Philly Cheesesteak with extra mushrooms. The steak was seasoned wonderfully & the mushrooms & onions (I requested no green peppers) were fully grilled to perfection [not raw & crunchy] & placed throughout the sandwich: at the bottom, in the middle & at the top of the steak.
YUM!
Additionally, I ordered a turkey hoagie with everything on it. The sandwich was FRESH, tasty & delightful! It was also very pleasing to eyes, making me ready to dive in!
Both sandwiches were packaged in appropriate, quality, containers – no spills, no drips in my bag.
The restaurant has big windows making it bright, & airy. There are a few tables that were cute (not typical, non attractive restaurant furniture) with nice centerpieces. I placed a to go order & my food was prepared and in a bag in no time. The cashier turned out to be the owner! She was warm & welcoming, convincing me to try one of their several flavors of homemade lemonade. I tried the blue raspberry flavor & loved it! Let me also mention the REASONABLE prices!!!
What a GEM in my own neighborhood. The food is AWESOME & worth a visit! There’s a free parking lot directly behind the restaurant. In my best Schwarzenegger voice: “I’ll be back!”
