Our fine Indian food is prepared by chefs from the region of the offering, which makes it genuinely authentic and, because of our selection of dishes, we offer exceptional food that has rarely been served in restaurants anywhere in the UK, as the range of ingredients used in true Indian gourmet cooking would be too laborious to assemble, prepare and slow cook. But we consistently strive to achieve this end. We are obsessive about our ingredients and spices, knowing that true flavour needs to start from the genuine raw material.

Just had a take away. Friendly helpful staff. Had rice, Bombay aloo and chicken jalfrezi madras hot. All came just over £20. Good curry, happy I went there.

If I could give this restaurant more I would. The service was outstanding, the food was beautiful, and the restaurant was clean, beautifully decorated and a lovely atmosphere. My new local restaurant for sure!!

Bloody wow! This was an incredible meal. Service was exemplary even if it was a tad slow, it was well worth the experience.
Genuinely happy to say this was the best ever chicken tikka Madras I’ve ever had.
Seriously well worth a visit to this place.

Left very much to be desired for Indian food and a not much value for the prices they charge. Went in for dinner and the restaurant only had 2 people, that should have been the warning sign to walk straight back out.
The waiter asked us if we wanted poppadums, implying that they were courtesy as thats usually the case at Indian restaurants. We got a shock to see them on the bill, and they also charge you for the sauce for them, terrible sauces by the way. They also pour the sodas for you from the kitchen, it was so watered down.
The only thing which I could rate on their menu is their naan. Samoosas were very dry and you only get 2 for £10 if I recall well, had something with prawns as a starter. Curries are bland and such small portions.

Brilliant late night meal. Popped in with 45 minutes left until closing, immediately greeted and welcomed to a table, the background music was actually good, and once seated I was immediately offered drinks and poppadoms.
Had a classic lamb dupiaza with boiled rice and a cheese nan. Service was rapid (though it was obviously quiet at nearly 9:30pm) and despite being the only one there, everything was fantastically fresh. The lamb flaked and was easy to pull apart and had some fantastic flavours, clearly well marinated, no excessive oil in the sauce and a really big serving of fluffy and perfectly cooked white rice. I need to make a special mention for the cheese nan, as some curry houses just melt cheese on to a nan, this time it was done right, and baked into the bread itself, and it really hits different.
£30 all in, and worth every penny. I highly recommend giving Zaynab a try.

Great host and an excellent location just off the A14 Caple St Mary, Suffolk
Food was brilliant and the atmosphere was spot on.
Plenty of parking and easy access.
They also do special tribute band nights, like Elvis, so watch out for promo…

A Great Discovery . Went because of the great reviews. Wasn’t disappointed. Lovely venue, which filled up as we ate (we had booked early). Non intrusive music playing in the background. Waiters were friendly and welcoming. Food on the menu offered traditional indian cuisine but also some less predictable items. The food was well presented, plentiful and delicious. The prices were reasonable. We both had chicken tandoori to start then chicken tikka biryani and lamb madras with special rice, onion bahji and a garlic nan bread – also two glasses of diet coke each and generous coffees which all came to £58.70. They do have a dessert menu which comprises of various ice creams but we were very full so didn’t partake. It would have been nice to have been able to have a fruit salad or mango/pineapple etc., and they might consider having decaff coffee available but now I really am nit-picking. All in all had a lovely indian meal and will definitely be going back. Might avoid the nights when they have their Elvis tribute on, but that’s just our preference and I would imagine it would be very good, if you’re into that sort of thing, since the act has appeared on various TV channels and radio. Just leaves me to say …. nice one Zaynab! PS. Loos are very nice too!!! ☺☺☺

Wow what a surprise and yes this was a recommendation from Tripadvisor. Once again not in the top 10, in fact number 16 of 286. Looking for someone to eat with good reviews and our travel or distance to the venue not an issue. Long story short, we arrive by side of the A12 to see what looks like a closed little Chef. With the clouds gathering my wife wants to go and get back home before the rain. I need to feed and open the door and walk in and by now we have also seen a poster for A travelling Elvis. Intreagued? So was as we had seen the Elvis impersonator some 9 years earlier. More doors, we enter. The room before us is full of tables laid and in waiting for feast to be served. No guests or staff in sight I call out and so begins our feast. The Food! The appetisers, popdoms with beautiful accompaniments, starters fresh well cooked chicken with great spices and flavour, Salmon tandoori dry cooked and charred to perfection. Main dishes Tandoori King Prawn shashlik and Lamb Num Num with pilau rice and sagaloo. All very fresh cooked perfectly and with spice so well balanced. This really has to be tried to be believed. We will definitely be visiting again soon, and big thank you to our host and server Nasim.
