Magnolia BBQ is the BEST! From the customer service all the way to the desserts! They have amazingly moist homemade cakes and the best tasting BBQ. It’s not vinegar based so if you like your BBQ tangy, yet sweet, you’ve found the right spot. My favorite would be their potato salad, you’ve gotta try it. The BBQ is phenomenal, and you’ll always be treated like family. Magnolia BBQ is so good, you’ll think you just picked up a plate from your family reunion.

The experience we had with Mr.Dameione and Magnolia BBQ far exceeded our expectations. Coming from New Orleans we are critical of food from other places….but Nola…. Magnolia BBQ gave us a run for our money. The food was wonderful.They were professional, they were set up and ready to serve before our group even arrived. They were courteous and attentive to our guest from start to finish. I would recommend this business 100 times again and again. I cant wait to party again in Atl. MAGNOLIA BBQ will always be our 1st choice.

**Review for FOOD TRUCK** Warm welcome. Good Cakes. However, there should be no reason a food truck to have a 20 min hold on taking orders especially when you are at an event with hundreds of people. The food truck business is grab and go. On top of that a customer should never have to wait 10 plus mins for an order to be ready from a food truck.

I come to you today to point out yet another wonderful black owned establishment in our neighborhood! Nestled in a corner on Moreland avenue in the Chevron parking lot directly across the street from Value Village and American Deli is Magnolia BBQ and Fish. Dameione, the owner, brings his southern hospitality by way of Houston and Mississippi to East Atlanta. You can certainly feel the love, and taste it even more, with his delectable dishes, bright cheerful smile and southern charm.
I chose to dine on the rib tip dish with a side of homestyle baked beans and creamy potato salad. He explained that these smokey, tender and perfectly seasoned rib tips are a recipe originally perfected by his grandmother from Mississippi. They were exceptional!!! Meaty, moist, tender and fell directly off the bone!!
The side of vegan baked beans had just the right amount of sweetness and the potato salad was reminiscent of backyard BBQs in the summer.
Jameen had the fried catfish with french fries and also the baked beans. The fish was fried to perfection and seasoned just enough to highlight the flavor. The french fries were also well prepared with just the right amount of crunchiness and season.
As a bonus we were able to try a not yet added to the menu order of BBQ chicken nachos!! Smoked chicken nestled on top of a delicious creamy cheese sauce then layered on Dorito chips and dressed with Magnolia BBQ sauce. Let me just say I’ll be glad when this officially gets added to the menu as it will probably be one of my repeat purchases going forward.
All in all everything was perfect!! If you are looking for a good southern home-cooked BBQ then look no further than right around the corner to Magnolia!!

Best Bar B Q & Fish in the Metro ATL Area! Started being a Fan way back when I first came in contact with him in Birmingham Al! When I say I knew then he’s got some of the Best Bar BQ I’ve ever had including my Own..! This is the only place that serves Bar B Q & Fish outside of my own Fryer, Smoker & Grills to my family.. The owner is a great person who cares for his community as much as he cares for his business (Nothing more needs to be said) his care for his product and community is like non I’ve Ever Experienced! Get you a plate and talk with the owner to see for yourself!
