My sister, daughter and I drove an hour each and met at Hotel Hickman for lunch, with my sister’s 4 young boys as well. We got the Sampler which came with pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs and brisket plus sides. It was enough to feed all of us, and even the kids loved everything. I can’t say enough how delicious and tender the brisket and ribs were! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, telling us we could push tables together instead of putting the older kids at another table. I understand they’re under new management, so if you had a so-so or bad experience 3 months ago, give them another shot. You won’t be sorry!

First time in I had great pulled pork. Second time I had good brisket and an item forgotten in my order. Would still like to try the peach cobbler. It’s nice that the staff is friendly and doesn’t make you uncomfortable being there like the place it replaced.

Purchased brisket for my daughter’s wedding (Oct. 13, 2018) from Pinckney, as well as smoked chicken breast, and although the chicken got compliments for the great flavor, the brisket was non-stop raved about. We are more than pleased with how delicious it was. Several people told me many times how much they loved the brisket. The bride and groom were very pleased as well. Thank you for outdoing yourselves!

We tried the Pulled pork twice and both times it was not good. Seems to have an odd taste. My husband said never again. Then I tried the cherry cobbler. The worst cobbler I have ever eaten. It seems like the topping was not baked at all and that too had a strange flavor (maybe old product). After one bite I threw it away. I am so disappointed as we don’t have many options to eat out in this area. I am an avid baker and cook – trust me this is not good quality food and I know good food when I taste it. Guys you need to up your game or you won’t last long here.

The brisket is outstanding! Yummy bark… smoky flavor. They even have homemade sauces. Jalapeno sausage is quite tasty too! Deeeeelicious… Chuckwagon catering service for any event. Great job Scott and crew.

AHMAZING. We had this catered and just finished our 4th of July meal and it was incredible I cannot breathe I’m so full. Mac and cheese was so creamy and delicious , the pulled pork was SO good and I am super picky about my bbq . I didn’t have a leg but everyone around me is saying the chicken legs are so juicy and one of the best things they have ever had . Cornbread was the perfect balance of sweet but not too sweet and light . Baked beans were great too.
Delivery came EXACTLY on time on the minute . The owner delivered it and was very friendly and also so nice to our dogs which we love because they are annoying at times .

We loved the previous BBQ at this location when it was Boogie Woogie. We have tried Hotel Hickman on several occasions and the BBQ is okay as are the sides. The dessert I’d recommend you pass on and just get another side instead. We really want to like this place since it’s a local business and the staff is very friendly.

This place completely exceeded my expectations! I got the smoked chicken breast dinner and it was cooked perfectly with excellent flavor. Large variety of sauces to pick from (chipotle is the best).
The staff was incredible, they’re very tentative to all the customers and extremely respectful.
Dont miss this stop if you enjoy a good Barbeque restaurant.

Worst Q I’ve ever had in my life! The brisket was so dry it could have been tanned for leather! The sides were high school cafeteria quality at best! To top it off they never gave me my deserts (plural), which in hind sight was probably a blessing! Defiantly avoid!

My wife ordered pulled pork, with potatoes mac n cheese & apple cobbler. I ordered 1/2 slab of ribs, coleslaw, & beans. All to go. It was all poorly packaged. Wifes cobbler got mixed on my plate & got in my beans. Bbq sauce opened & spilled in bag. Reminded me of chow hall food. Meat had no smokey flavor, beans were so so..everything was really plain. My wifes pulled pork, i made better in my crockpot with a package from kroger. I might try it again, but they got nothing on chef chris..
