This place is great. It even has a drink list it also switches between an early morning calm bar atmosphere to a dance party rave at night. It’s a Kent staple for a reason.

The best bar to spend a weekend night in NE Ohio in my opinion. Every time I go it’s PACKED after 11 or 12. Always a fun time and the staff is fantastic. DANCE LIKE YOUR LIFE IS ON THE LINE

Great New place to hang out in downtown Kent. Drinks were reasonably priced and service was fantastic! Really love the retro gameroom. The games are all 80’s and 90’s arcade games be (Pacman, Frogger, Defender, etc) and all of them are free. This really adds to a very entertaining evening.
We went early (4PM) so we could bring our son in (7 years old). He had a blast.
This place is my new favorite local hangout!!!

A classy well decorated bar/night club, no food served. Free video games but not all games work or have broken controlers. Bar is not a sustainable place, ALL drinks served in non recyclable plastic cups. Music is excesively loud sometimes rap music. The unique lava lamps no longer work.

We took our kids here today and we thought it was great. The food was good, the atmosphere was fun and free arcade games are fantastic! Just know that kids under 18 are only allowed until 5 p.m.

I try not to spend money here anymore after they tipped themselves more than half of my drink order (multiple drinks for friends as well) but I went out again recently to find out they tipped themselves again!! It’s crazy because I do tip bartenders and keep track of what I spend each and every time I go out but to be dishonest on the tip is absurd!!! My drinks this past time were also disgusting and tasted nothing like what I had ordered which was very disappointing. How are you going to tip yourself MORE when you can’t even make a SIMPLE drink right?!

Tremendous improvement over bar 145 and a welcome addition to Kent. Bartenders were very attentitive, lounge areas are great, free games can’t be beat. Pics are of draft pours on two different days, I appreciate the nod to safety as I’m not likely to accidently spill on myself. Additionally, even though I’m not Catholic, the mass on TV was refreshing…you just don’t get that in other bars on a Friday night. Came in on Sunday during the Browns game and no TVs at the bar had the game on. I’ll be back. Can’t wait for summer with the windows open and/or sitting on the patio.

This place has a super great atmosphere with sweet lights, a great dancefloor, and well known party bangers always playing. The ladies who bartend are very friendly and make drinks well. While I had a great time, there are a few things to mention:

Almost all of the security guards are incredibly rude. I get that it’s a serious job, but the first time I went there when they checked my ID they shoved it back in my hands without saying anything and none of the 6 or 7 guards standing outside would answer me when I asked if I was good to go in. I asked multiple times, and they deliberately ignored me. They also will straight up run into you to get across the dancefloor, and some of them glare persistently while you’re dancing. And I mean GLARE. Like, every time you look over they’re doing it.

Second point: this place is NOT the environment for you if you like preserving the functionality of your eardrums. Perhaps this goes without saying when it comes to bars, but the music is LOUD. Often painfully so. First time I went I had to put in my wireless earbuds with no sound just so I could keep myself from rupturing an eardrum at the Tetris machine. At one point in the night they turned up the volume when it was already uncomfortably loud, to the point everyone had to type drink orders on their phone and shout repeatedly into people’s ears. I went there last night. It’s the afternoon now and my ears are still ringing.

So, yeah. It’s a great place to party if you can ignore the guards and tolerate the uproar. Personally I think it’s worth the trouble because the people I met were awesome and the energy in the club is electric.

if you aren’t a college kid i wouldn’t go there. i was visiting and staying in the hotel down the street. i accidentally left my ID in the hotel and asked the bouncer if i could quickly run and grab it, he started yelling at me to go back of the line. i asked if i could pay a cover to skip the line bc i was waiting for almost an hour. he started threatening to call the cops.

i get the bouncers are used to drunk college kids but i was being a respectful adult and was treated like garbage. wouldn’t go there unless you want to be treated like a piss drunk college kid.

kinda felt like discrimination.
