I ordered brown stew snapper and was told it would take about 20-25 minutes but I waited 45 minutes for the order to be completed. The brown stew was served in a cup on the side. It was loaded with oil and water and not flavorful at all. It was more oil and water than gravy. Even after skimming a lot of it off, there was still a lot left. This was not good at all. I’ve never had brown stew like that. I hate giving low reviews but if I’m paying $30 for my food, it needs to taste good and this was disappointing. Also the music was extremely loud, like being in a club. I went to the store next door and could hear the music loud and clear in there.

First time here, I ordered the oxtails and fried chicken. The chicken was mediocre, Popeyes or KFC beats them hands down. Thank goodness I ordered chicken, if not I would have had nothing to eat as the Oxtails were terrible. They were not even close to tender and the flavor was unforgivable. There was an overpowering taste of clove or cinnamon or somthing. None of the heat or savory flavors that island cooking is known for. My wife tried unsuccesfully to add some spice to this EXPENSIVE dish but that clove taste was too overpowering. This is what happens when a business stops caring about what they serve. In the end I just threw them out, and it hurt because these were OXTAILS! … and just like most of these type of restuarants the dish I ordered wasnt readily available and I was told to wait a few minutes for the oxtails, I ended up waiting more like 20min without any customer service to ease the pain. Customer service is ALWAYS an issue in these places and I suspect that won’t change, its just how they do. They wont see me again!!!

I’ve always wanted to check this place out and everything was a 10/10!!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and told about the menu and specials. Wasn’t sure what I wanted to the beautiful lady helped me with a few options. So, I got the curry chicken plate, a beef patty, and bottled lemonade(not pictured) I felt like I was back in JAMAICA and will definitely be back soon!

1st timer…the aromas as I walked in… I wish I could’ve sat down and tasted everything . I chose Brown Stew Chicken with Cabbage, Rice and Peas .must have Plantains… Filling portions I had enough for dinner and lunch… . I plan to visit again soon with friends

Omg this food is soooooooooooooooooooooo good!! I always get the jerk chicken, but this time, I tried the brown stew fish, and it was !! I had rice & peas and plantains with it. The women behind the counter were all really sweet and the one lady was so patient with explaining the different fish recipes to me because I didn’t know what some things were since I’m not Jamaican, Lol. I loved my food and the dessert I tried (bread pudding cake). I am stuffed and really happy with the fact that I tried something different! I will definitely give this place more business!!

Everyone was so nice. My finance and I first time coming here was today. She got the oxtail pasta and I got a jerk chicken plate. All the food was amazing!! We even tried two of their patties and it was good as well. The atmosphere was welcoming, while all the workers were very welcoming!

The only word to sum up my experience today… Tremendous. The staff was attentive and interactive. The options and combinations were phenomenal, and the execution… Superb. they even had ripe full-size avocados (not the little ones) to pick from! An absolute taste of the Caribbean. Will definitely be back.
