I lovedddd their panini, but a friend did mention they wished the “sourdough” bread it used was more artisanal-type sourdough, rather than “Wonderbread”-type sourdough. The strawberry crepes to me tasted a little off from the crepes themselves, somewhat like the crepes were made with an inferior ingredient somewhere (usually seed oils), but my friend who tried them said they tasted amazing, so it could depend on the person. My friend and I both loved our drinks! I got their iced chai latte.
The coffee and food were great.
I’d definitely bring my girlfriend here someday.
The menu has a good selection of desserts, and the staff is friendly and attentive, which is a pleasure. I tried a matcha latte – it tasted good, but the drink was so hot that it burned my hands. It would be great if they took this into account when adding protective holders and, of course, the temperature of the drink should be correct in the first place.
Overall, this is a place for those who like beautiful locations and a relaxing vacation. However, I wish that the little things didn’t spoil the overall impression.
Based on the snarky tone of the owner, I actually WOULDN’T RECOMMEND popping in here, even if it does have cute decor.
Of course I understand that businesses run out of ingredients, duh. Free tip: if the back runs out of something, they should let the front know so that they’re able to let the customer know right away at the time of their order. There have been many times I go to order something somewhere and the cashier lets me know that the item I want is not available. At that time I’m able to make a decision to either not place an order or to order something else.
To have a customer wait for over 10 minutes for a mostly pre-made drink before then telling them that that you can’t make their drink doesn’t seem customer-forward. However after reading your reply I’m not surprised though, it’s very clear you’re not customer forward at all and that’s why I don’t recommend people come here, even if you do have incredible avocado toast!

Cute entrance and interior decor – very instagrammable but the speed of service and offerings left something to be desired. We ordered a lemonade that cost $7… And after waiting about 10 minutes for us, they found me to tell me they actually were out of an ingredient and could not actually make the lemonade Some of their other food offerings sounded good, but $17 for avocado toast is a bit much, even in San Diego.
The ice tea’s we ordered were not that great. But, it was okay for the chill atmosphere we got and for taking pictures. Plus, the girls working there were so cute and very nice. We also ordered an Acai Bowl with everything and it was delicious and chilled.
Would definitely stop by again just to hang out and take pictures. In addition to trying out maybe some different tea’s.
