The salmon was amazing and not thin sliced like most places. Everything was delicious. Place is super clean. I was so busy stuffing my face I forgot to take pictures of my food.

Very fun and good food. No atmosphere to talk about and a simple set up of some booths and counter seating. Lots of options and can make personal orders. Very friendly staff. Cost around $70 for 3 adults for lunch. Parking is ok as the restaurant is in a strip mall with tons of other restaurants and shops.

My kiddo loves conveyor belt sushi so it was a neat surprise when we walked in saw they had one! The sushi was really good and I enjoyed the experience of looking at what they had and then grabbing off the belt. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had good desserts too. Not a huge variety but for what it is – it had exactly what we needed.

The only reason I knocked a star is because service was fine – they didn’t really check in or explain the process. For example, one of the reviews says you can do personal orders and they’ll deliver it on the belt – I didn’t know that. no one really came around to ask (despite us being visibly confused for the first 15 minutes and there was only one other table).

All in all, a good experience for a sushi spot in a shopping center.

I loved this little sushi place! It was my first time ever going to a conveyer belt sushi restaurant. The plates all have a different color, and there is a menu showing how much each plate is, and what is on that plate as well! I had around 4 plates, and it was only $15 for me! I definitely recommend if you’re just wanting a light lunch/dinner. I will definitely come back here again!

We really enjoyed the food, the variety and dessert options. They have happy hour Monday thru Friday.
We went on a weekend afternoon and it was not packed. Very family welcomed. Will visit again to try the noodles.

I had a great experience at Yi Sushi. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which immediately set the tone for a wonderful meal.
The food was exceptionally fresh, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the Vancouver roll really stood out — the seared salmon had an awesome smokiness that added so much depth and flavor, making the roll perfectly balanced and absolutely amazing.

Between the outstanding service and the incredible food, Yi Sushi has definitely earned a loyal customer. Highly recommend!

Stumbling through life with a picky wife is a burden I would never wish on adventurer like me. I have traveled the world, eaten strange and extraordinary things, gone to places that were dark and dangerous. I cast myself into newness like a dog going after a dropped potato chip.
My wife on the other hand is generally not a culinary explorer. She has a long list of things she does not like, places she will not try, and cuisines that are off the table.
That being said, she is supportive, trusting, helpful, and kind hearted, so I guess the balance is in my favor.
Finding a new venue to put on our list of places to eat is rare and welcome. For years there was a running theme where she would ask where I wanted to go and then would turn down each place until I arrived at her favorite place and then she would say yes! A good safe choice that would drive me crazy. I would say in frustration, why not just tell me where are going so we don’t have to do this ongoing ritual?
When a favorite place closed down it was a global crisis.
Anyway, we have settled on a few places we both like but I am always looking for a place she is willing to try.
Yi-Sushi was a success! We were sorry the belt was not working, she loves the ability to just grab what looks good and I love the gimmicky concept, it reminding me of my years spent living in Japan where the conveyor system is as ambiguous as the soda machines on every corner, or the drunk businessmen on the late night trains.
Well that night it was broken and although there was a substantial language barrier I was told it would be fixed in a couple of days.
Regardless of lack of mechanized servitude, we both found the sushi fresh, plentiful, and delicious.
Although I hate to be a penny pincher, I will also say we got carried away, ordered way too much (another reason for a conveyor belt) and still walked out at about the same price as some of our other favorite places. Figure about half the price as we usually spend for similar quality.
So getting into the weeds of what sushi is all about, I will say that in Japan, this is just what you ate on the way home. You expected good friendly service, fresh good food, and a decent price. You also expected cleanliness.
Hi-Sushi hits straight to the nostalgia on every point. Friendly atmosphere and great food.
This place goes on my wife’s list of favorites so they can expect to see us regularly, and I’m not unhappy about the situation.
I love it when a different culture works its way into the fabric of a neighborhood. It normalizes the world and brings us closer together.
In Japan the business men would take pride in how high they could stack their plates and still be on a budget. There were epic lunches!

This place was genuinely a delight at first. The atmosphere was pleasant and I was ready to order from the menu, but the wait staff brought water and then vanished. Since it’s a conveyor sushi joint, I ended up just eating what came by on the belt. That part was fine and the food itself was enjoyable, but I never had a chance to order anything specific. It has real potential, but the service gap was noticeable and frustrating.

Their servings are totally worth the price. You can request sushi or any on the menu that isn’t on the revolving sushi bar. You can also see behind the sushi bar, the center of the sushi place, how they make sushi. I hope sesame red bean balls would be a bit sweeter and I hope Lexington roll will be added on the menu. Definitely a sushi place that you’d be coming back for!

Update (05/25) Promos are now only limited to what’s in the belt. You’ll be charged a regular price if you request a specific type of sushi that’s not in the belt.

It’s ok.
This was my first time a conveyor belt sushi place (I have always known how the work).
You know, it was ok.
You get what you pay for.
The food is certainly edible, and tasty.
Maybe I, was expecting more, but I didn’t even know what to expect.
The price was good, so no quible about that.
Would I go back…..
Yeah.
I would, and will.
Might not be for others, but yeah, I am ok with this place.
