Home. A warm and friendly place with a great menu and nice people working here. We were here several times during our visit to Juneau and it was great! They have both a restaurant and a bar area that are separate rooms. You can get the same food and drinks in both places but the restaurant is more open and well lit, so good for families. The bar area is a little darker and more intimate, so better for adults. My favorite thing was the way I was able to customize my order and make it just how I liked!

2021.05.31 Buffets on Sundays are gone due to COVID-19. Chips and salsa, chips were just fried but very greasy and didn’t like the taste of too much fat after consuming several of them, it didn’t taste as good as in the past. Their new offering Tacos Al Pastor passable, it’s dry, overcooked, too much carb to meat ratio, kitchen not flexible of request of grilling onions instead of raw onions, not willing to add al pastor as a a la carte burrito. Seasoning and flavor tasted better elsewhere. Bottom line, tacos al pastor not recommended, which is too bad as I would like to find a place that serves really tasty al pastor, and this doesn’t cut it. Our waiter with the tattoos has an attitude, ignoring us then forgetting to inquire if the kitchen would make a burrito al pastor.
2018 Visited here for their Sunday brunch buffet. They offer salmon, oysters in their offering. The salmon is overcooked. There’s Mexican food in the lineup. I took one nibble of their enchilada and left the rest on the plate to be thrown out. Desserts are generally too sweet, low quality.
The omelette made to order is top notch, generous with the fillings and the only best thing out of this brunch.

This is a hidden gem in the Travel Lodge by the airport. Great location. The bar is in the back and very secluded. It has a perfect dive bar feel. Great place to meet some locals. Margaritas are very tasty.

Highly recommend, cozy and tasteful, salsa and chips was amazing after a 6 hours flight cancelation.

Came to eat for lunch. They either were either understaffed or servers weren’t informed we had arrived. It might have been that we showed up a little later into the noon hour. They switched the sign to “please seat yourself” rather than their usual “please wait to be seated.” It took a fair amount of time for us to be noticed. After that service was respectable. Food was good. The soup of the day was the beef and veggies, it was great and wished ordered a bowl instead of a cup! Also had chicken enchilada and a cheese enchilada. They allowed a substitution of extra rice instead of beans to go with the enchiladas which was appreciated.
If you do come here for lunch, arrive early to give yourself time to sit and enjoy your meal and not feel rushed to eat and return to work on time. Prices are a little on the high side (~$36.00 for two people, not including tip), but felt we would come back to have lunch there again.

Food was excellent, margaritas were better than excellent (get them on the rocks. They’re so much better, you won’t be able to go back to blended). Cora was an awesome waitress who seems to genuinely love her job and her drink recommendations were spot on!

Good food, nice authentic feeling atmosphere, friendly staff.
I’d suggest to management to remodel the entry area to have the cash register by the door. Mainly because they seem to be worried about non-customers using their restrooms.
I’m no food connoisseur, but my belly and mouth were happy and I didn’t break the bank to have a nice and tasty home-cooked type meal with my family while traveling away from home.
Might be one of the reasons why there’s no taco-bell type fast food chains in Juneau.

Don’t do it. Seriously. We were warned not to go and we tried it anyways. We got our food and it had a chunk of raw chicken in the first bite; not slightly cooked, fully raw. The waitress took it back to the cook and he said it wasn’t raw and they tried to bill us for it still. The other plate was gross as well. The food quality is poor. It was obvious that everything came right out of a can and on to the plate. Save your money.

I ordered a few enchiladas for my family with a side of nachos. $80+ just for sour, spoiled beans, crunchy rice, and a gigantic pile of toppings that spilled every time I ate from it with like 15 chips is not worth it for me. The table was not clean, it still had something sticky that caught onto my shirt, with a few noticeable crumbs. The wait time was about 40 minutes as well, completely not worth the wait or money.

The service is plain awful. Getting chips and salsa to the table took 3 asks and at least half an hour. Drinks came 40 minutes after ordering. Portions are huge but food quality pretty bad. There is absolutely no spicing to the dishes. Best part of the place is that it’s attached to our hotel so you don’t have to take a cab to town. Forgettable restaurant.
