As asian food lovers we try out all new n old places around Pittsburgh. HK Dim Sum was on the list and finally we got to it. The ambiance is nice and welcoming. Service was great; prompt & courteous. The food was the star of the night. Ordered spicy cucumber salad, pork wonton in spicy sauce and fried calamari for starters. Cucumber salad was ok, but rest of the appetizers were great. I ordered truffle pork dim sum, which was good. Kids ordered steamed beef ribs and pork buns. They loved it! The shrimp rice roll was great we ended up reordering . The best part was the portion sizes were just right and so was the price. We will definitely be back to try few more dishes!

Ordered take away and all the food was delicious! The portions were big, packeged neatly. The broth was flavorful and dim sum dishes were well seasoned with side dipping sauces. We will be coming back to dine in to have this all fresh!

The food definitely exceeded my expectations. One of the best dim sum places I’ve ever been to and I’m from NYC. Definitely the best one in Pittsburgh. Very flavourful and the decor is so cute. I tried the honeydew slush too. Has vegetarian options. Very friendly service. Recommended!

The restaurant was so pretty and the staff very friendly! But the seller for me was their food. It was out of this world, AMAZING. My favorite had to be the cucumbers in chili oil. 10 out 10, absolutely eat here ❤️

Really nice atmosphere and attentive staff. The food came out quickly and everything was hot and fresh. The place had a few customers when we arrived, but filled up pretty quickly after 6pm. Still, the service was great. I really hope they do well! Also, there is free parking under the building (enter on Craig street).

Update: still a great place. However, the parking garage is closing after Dec 1st, I think for renovations.

Wonderful dimsum lunch here with excellent service by our server Toby . We like everything ; dumplings , steamed buns , sesame balls , chicken broccoli and the drinks with boba / jelly ✨✨✨✨✨
The lazy Susan table was a very nice experience for the kids ! This dimsum is highly recommended.

Dim sum was delicious. But the price was much higher (~$3-4 per dish) than others I had experienced in the past 10 years.

Our friend “warned” us this might be a disappointing experience, but we decided to give it a try anyway.

In short: it’s okay. Don’t come expecting an authentic dim sum experience. The menu even mixes in some noodle soups that feel like a blend of Japanese, Chinese, and maybe something else altogether (never been to a dim sum place that has tonkatsu noodle soup on the menu lol)

We also ordered some steamed pork ribs and the shrimp rice rolls. They weren’t terrible, but definitely not great and far from authentic. The menu overall is pretty limited.

They did give us a free butterfly pea milk tea with flavored jelly. Honestly, glad we didn’t pay for it because it wouldn’t have been worth the price (it tastes good, but just don’t worth the money)

On the plus side, the environment is comfortable and nicely set up.

Overall, we probably wouldn’t come back unless we’re REALLY craving dim sum and have no other options in the city.

One of the best dim sum restaurants in Pittsburgh.
Steamed Rice Roll with Fried Dough is crunchy freshly made with crunchy inside and soft outside.
Deep Fried Meat Dumplings is the best, even comparing with New York.
Would come back weekly
