Excellent slow cooked BBQ spot (their Rib Room is open on weekends only right now, the cafe is open regular hours). Super flavorful and moist ribs and brisket, delicious sides (baked beans, corn bread, etc). Generous portion sizes – we were all stuffed by the time we left and brought some home too. Also a good selection of beers on tap and some great cocktails. Really cool decor too! Definitely give them a try!

I got two cappuccino here because they were soooo good, and I was arguing with a leaky boiler nearby. The service is quick, and the muffins are delicious. Thank you so much! You all have a nice waterfall nearby… (lol, not the boiler leaking, but a real waterfall) cool spot to take a walk and catch some fresh air.

The Purple Pit has been around for a while now, but they’ve just begun to offer dinner in their back room in the past week. Having been a fairly regular customer since moving to the area, I knew I had to try their new barbecue offerings. While we all know that their coffees, pastries, and sandwiches are fresh and fantastic, it’s their entry into the world of barbecue that really piqued my interest.
On Saturday I placed an order for the brisket dinner and two sides. Let’s just say that if you are a fan of barbecue, you HAVE TO give the Rib Room at the Purple Pit a try! Tender and delicious brisket you can cut with your fork awaits you. And the homemade macaroni and cheese is excellent! Along with these items, I got the baked beans. These are absolutely homemade and very tasty, too. There was enough food to make two meals. For someone larger than myself, it might be just enough for one meal. But as I said, I got two meals out of it. The brisket dinner was $26 + tax.
Go to the Pit. I believe they’ll win you over. If you are looking for a new dinner spot, give them a try on either Friday or Saturday night from 4:30-9:30pm. Enjoy!

We appreciate the baristas and their attention to detail when making our drinks, Americano and latte with extra shots. The drinks always come out just right with a nice crema on the Americano. The layout of the cafe is great too, plenty of room to sit and people watch and they even have quiet corners where you could have a conversation without disturbing others.
We haven’t tried any of the food yet, but it all looks fresh and homemade. I have no doubts it is just as good as the coffee.

The Purple Pit pulled us right in as we were driving through Bristol NH. What a fun place! The turkey fraser was really good and my wife rated her salad as 5/5. The kitchen closes at 2 and the whole place is closed by 3 so get there early! You will really be glad you did. What a cool place!

Came here after a camping trip at Cardigan Mountain and the food was delicious, good ambiance, great service. Food came in like 5 mins and tons of great options including gluten free. Definitely recommend the corned beef egg sandwich
