Last day for our 12 days Europe cruise, and stoped at Vernon for Monet lily garden. We arrived at 7:00pm Saturday night with only a few customers inside, after we finished ordering, the restaurant was almost full. Looks like it is very popular in town. The only issue with our steak was, we ordered medium well, but it was served as medium rare. I bet not many people order medium well. Other than this everything was good even there is a little bit challenge to communicate with English.

Love this little restaurant in Vernon. I ate here twice in our two day stay in Vernon. I had their Italian Salad off of their daily recommendations menu. My husband and I ate at a table outside and on the sidewalk terrace. The food was fresh and superb and the salad dressings were wonderful. The next day we ate there for lunch. The garden tables were open and we sat in the garden. The garden area is beautiful and I had the I had the Filet Mignon A La Creme De Coriandre & Menthe to eat. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all perfect. We had creme brûlée for dessert. I wish I could eat here everyday. This is my favorite restaurant from our two week trip in France.

4 starts is a stretch, food was mediocre but I have to say probably the best you can find in this small town. Duck had burnt flavor. Presentation was also poor.

Nice spot to sit outside on the sidewalk to people watch after a long day walking around the town of Vernon and the gorgeous village of Giverny. It was so beautiful that my wife and I spontaneously decided to stay a night in Vernon rather than go back to Paris by train. The food was great. I had a steak and my wife had a meat pie of some sort. I had a nice French beer and a couple glasses of red wine while my wife had rose. We met some locals who informed us about breakfast spots in the morning. Our server was great and we had a good time and a few jokes. Not much was open at 9pm, but this place had a nice little crowd of locals, so you know it must be good!

Lovely experience here! It’s definitely *not* haute-cuisine, but what can you expect for a 14euro main course? For the price you get a great meal. We got the chicken-Camembert and salmon with homemade pesto, which were both massive and tasty. The waiter was very friendly and even spoke English. Simple good food and friendly service. I don’t believe there were many vegetarian options

Food wasn’t great. I can’t wrap my mind around why people serve duck on a skewer, it’s impossible to take the duck off the skewer with all the fat on it. Cutting was not possible either. The meats are grilled, completely ruining the flavour. Fries weren’t great either.

I thought the food was remarkably unremarkable. The place was exceptionally busy but the service despite this was incredibly slow. The food was poorly seasoned. Really needed some salt. The bread for the burger bun was stale and dry. The veal steak was cooked into next week. Rather disappointing for a place with such “excellent reviews”.

Very friendly staff, delicious food, and lovely location. But make sure to see if there is any seating in the back garden. It’s a beautiful little piece of paradise hidden away from the street, in an already lovely setting. We ordered the steak with fries and it was very very good. We also ordered the smoked salmon tagliatelle, very generous portion, delicious creamy sauce, very tasty meal. We were so glad to have stopped in for an early lunch before getting the train back to Paris.

Very nice place in a sweet town on the Seine. I ate here with my wife and two young daughters, and we very much enjoyed it. Definitely get the “Crumble de tomates et chevre” appetizer – that was a knockout. The roasted salmon was cooked perfectly, with a crisp skin and tender inside (although it was a tiny bit bland), and the penne in tomato and cream sauce was yummy – just be aware that it has ham in it.

The food was bad something they call filet mignon was just few pieces of some meat wich didnt look like filet mignon it was smaller and it was well done so just sad pieces of meat the fries were soggy and not salted at all sauce was good and the salad was odd? Im not sure it was few pieces of salad with some sour sauce. The waiter was really nice and the garden we ate at was with bushes and trees and just really relaxed place.
