Enchiladas were not that great.it was all I could do to get one down. Chilli relenos were salty. Tamales were meh. Service was great. Sweet tea great. Salsa ok. Since the parking lot was packed I expected a bit better. Food overall wasnt all that great for 65.00 bill. Unfortunately, wont go back.

I was passing through and this was convenient from the highway. I’m glad I did. The service and food were both excellent. I got chicken fajitas, with only onions – no peppers. Came as I requested, overflowing with perfectly carmelized onions. I liked the chicken and onions so much I only ate two of the tortillas and just cleaned up the rest right off the skillet.

If I am passing through that part of KY, I’ll definitely stop in again. Unless the owners want to open a satellite location in Raleigh NC? Maybe?

We were seated and promptly told they don’t allow outside food or drink. My son has some eating issues and we typically bring food for him. We usually pay for him to have a beverage and tip for the inconvenience. In the hundreds of restaurants we’ve eaten in, no one has ever refused to serve us because of it. They do have a sign posted, as do many other places. Just seems like an odd hill to die on.

By far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I like everything about this place, accept the food is slightly too salty, and the margaritas are slightly too sweet. If they could adjust those two things, they’d be perfect.

We went there today and the server was extremely RUDE. I ordered a taco salad and it didn’t even cover 1/2 plate. We asked for a to go Diet Coke, but since we had purchased a regular coke, she wouldn’t put diet in the cup. That wouldn’t have cost one red cent more. They have lost my business for good!

I did like the chips and salsa; it appears we all did since we went through 2 baskets. My food was good, but seemed really salty. I failed to ask the others about their food, but I heard no complaints.

Worst Mexican restaurant been to. Menus dirty, kids climbing over food counter from kitchen to seating, and lastly out of most menu items. Lastly charged $6 for 2 soft drinks that we took with us because poor staff attitude and no food.

This place is a joke anymore. This use to be my number one place to go to. The service is awful, the food don’t taste good (way to much seasoning on meat and not enough cheese, way to dry). The meat tasted like it was in the fridge for days! The portions were way smaller then it used to be. Very unsatisfied!! I don’t know what happened but yall need something different done. Tried to tell them what was wrong but they didn’t seem to care. Never going back. Dawson is the place to go! I hate complaining but this was uncalled for. Complete waste of money!

The food was bad, I could make better at home. But the worst part was the service. Not one smile, asked for lemon and she rolled her eyes to back of her head, and the price was way to much. We will not go back. We will stick to Authentic Mexican food! El Braceros n Cadiz, they r super sweet and they r Authentic.
