Tried Houston TX Hot Chicken and was seriously impressed. My daughter ordered a chicken sandwich and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, super crispy chicken, and the slaw added a great balance and freshness. I ordered fries with every sauce they offer, and wow. The cilantro ranch completely stole the show, which says a lot because I hate cilantro—but it was hands down my favorite. The house sauce came in a close second and was excellent on both the fries and the sandwich. One more standout was the cucumber watermelon slushy: incredibly refreshing and the perfect balance of cucumber and watermelon.
On top of the great food, the staff was friendly and helpful. When my fries came out cold, they immediately brought me a fresh batch without any hassle. Everything tasted unique, well thought out, and honestly just amazing. Definitely coming back.

We were helped by Mariah at the cash register. She was really friendly and explained the spice levels. I got the chicken sandwich and tender meal. My bf got the same thing. We were impressed with the quality of chicken and the sauces on the chicken. The pickles are the perfect crunch. I like the coleslaw on the burger but some might not like that. You can always take that off. Definitely recommend this spot for a good chicken burger and fries.

Honestly…. my favorite thing about this place, was the mirror in the bathroom. The place was cute and small inside and the staff was nice enough but most the tables weren’t clean and the food was overpriced for what it was… like it was good… I’d go back if someone else wanted to but I wouldn’t choose it personally.

It’s clean inside, but the sun coming in through the front doors makes it pretty hot, and the person working the register was nice enough. It was our first time there, so we decided to go inside and take our time perusing the menu, even though we were taking it home to the family. We were the only people inside and the wait for food took an pretty long time. One of the kids asked for a milkshake but she wasn’t with us, and it was handed to us 25 minutes before our food, so it was melted by the time we got it home to her, even though we only live 5 minutes away. She ordered chocolate, but it was just vanilla ice cream with some chocolate syrup decorating it, and she said it tasted mostly like vanilla. The 5 of us all ordered different things; the plain and mild nuggets were both fairly boring, and so were the house fries. We had a medium and a spicy chicken sandwich, and both complained that they were too wet and soggy. The lift-off chicken tenders were apparently fine, though. Our order come to about $100 for five of us, and after our long wait, I was a little resentful to have paid an extra 20% tip on top of it.

i’ve been here twice so I feel the bad review isn’t based on a fluke. The vibe is very awkward. They have a video constantly playing on a big screen of people partying and enjoying their chicken. Meanwhile I waited 30 minutes for a single chicken tender. Sunday night, 4 other parties in the restaurant. came out as chicken nuggets instead of tender. It tasted like it was cooked quite some time ago. The other time I was here I didn’t wait quite so long but too long. The chicken is OK but nothing phenomenal. no way I’ll come back here.

Almost perfect! They are a little slow to get your food done. I asked for extra ranch for 3 People and 3 meals and they gave me 2 and charged me for extra Ranch! Food is Great but expensive. Overall I loved the food but wish it wasn’t so expensive and they could be faster. The spice for Medium level is Awesome!

Josh was amazing! Helped us navigate the menu and spice levels. The food was also amazing. I tried the fusion fries without mango and was pleasantly surprised not only by the portion size but the taste. Chicken was pretty decently flavorful but was complimented amazingly by everything else in the bowl. Definitely will be back!

Absolutely great food and service. Been wanting to check out one of these locations ever since Houston himself was toying with the idea in late 2020 with Edmond Mondi. Was vistiting from Canada so I had to check one out. Crazy to think there’s as many locations as there is now. Would highly recommend over other fast food places. Food was great. Atmosphere was way better and nicer compared to most other fast food franchises.

Spokane has had several new chicken places pop up, so I wanted to give Houston TX Hot Chicken a try. I ordered 2 medium chicken strips and fries combo. It is a dry rub and did have good flavor, I just prefer sauce over dry rubs. It was good, but nothing to rant over. My husband tried the Fusion fries and my son got the Loaded fries. I didn’t try a bite of my son’s fries, but the Fusion fries were tasty. I’d definitely order those again. We also got two slushies. The blueberry lavender was a little tart, but pretty good. The strawberry hibiscus was good, but the other one was better. We spent $70ish dollars for the fries, two large slushies, and two 2 piece chicken strips combos.

I was already disappointed by the small portion of fries. When I grabbed my sandwich, a piece rolled out and hit the ground. I was confused until I realized it wasn’t a sandwich patty it was two tenders. It would have taken just a moment to inform me that you were out of chicken sandwiches. Instead, I received two tenders as a replacement. I tried to make the best of it and sample a piece that didn’t fall out sense every other food place had closed, but I was let down. I requested a honey butter sandwich I expected the tenders to at least be honey butter but they were just dry. I work in food service too, that one meal that I couldn’t even eat is one hour of me working so yeah this ruined my night.
