Wouldn’t have changed a thing about the meal. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Steak was perfect. Excited to return!

BlackStone Steakhouse in Norwalk CT is our favorite steak house. We go here for every special occasion and anniversary. We recently had our wedding celebration dinner in a private room. Cesar our server that evening did an outstanding job! We all had a wonderful and memorable experience. The food is always great and never disappoints.

Food was delicious and it’s a beautiful place! Only complaint is that the food took forever and while I’m sure our server did his best, waiting over 15 minutes to order drinks and almost an hour for dinner is not ideal.

Came here for my besties birthday dinner. The restaurant is very clean and beautiful. The service was great! We started off with the lemon pepper shrimp – white wine, garlic, and fresh lemon juice. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and it was good. I just wish it had more flavor. We all ordered the filet mignon. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were there! Unfortunately, they mixed up my friend’s steaks! We ordered 2 sauces for our steaks, the port wine, and the mushroom. I found them to be very sweet. I didn’t want the other sauces because I personally don’t think they go well with steak. I wish they had a sauce with some zing, but again, that’s my opinion. We ordered garlic mash, asparagus, and sautéed onions for our sides. The potatoes were good, I just didn’t prefer the chunks of garlic in them. The asparagus was good but could have used some flavor, and I really enjoyed the onions. Overall, we had a great experience and evening.

Excellent service. Really taste steak . I don’t mind to spend this amount of money for the New York strip steak. I wish it could be a little bit cheaper
Our waitress was Caesar. He provided an excellent service.
It was our first experience at this place.
We had a special occasion, and I really satisfied with my choice which is BlackStones Steakhouse.
I will definitely come back here again.

Went for restaurant week. The food was good but the service was very slow. For $35 got a steak, mash potatoes and vegetables plus an appetizer either soup or salad. And of course dessert. Got the tiramisu which was delicious. I attended with a large group. Everybody was happy with their food. Only comments about the restaurant being short staff. Will return in the future.

We are still waiting- about a 1 hour wait from ordering our entrees to receiving our entrees.
Total weight an hour and a half as we ordered appetizers and those did come out I. The first 30 minutes. If you have the patience to wait 60 min for your food- more power to you. Beautiful place , tasty food.

No accountability! Ordered @ 5:04 pm and went to pick up and told they had no record of it. No customers in the restaurant and asked for at least an acknowledgment of I’m sorry the order was not sent in and told it went somewhere else. When you can state the price of the order before the new one is placed to the penny and what the special is how could we be lying? Even called Southport and no order was there because we were told the call must of been “transferred.”
Ordered the prime rib rare (center piece) and it’s grey. We were not informed it came with asparagus and mashed. We would not have order more sides so it’s evident their is a lack of communication.
The 10oz filet was ordered as rare cool center and as you can see it’s medium as it has a heavy char and well done a centimeter down and the center was hit not cool. Ends are well done. If this happens on a Thursday with no one in the restaurant then what would it be like if they are busy. Capital Grille at least will admit their fault.
Sat at the restaurant waiting for the missing meal, no one in the restaurant, no accountability, they believe it’s cooked correctly and it’s far from cool red center and rare. The cream spinach is very watery. They will not reimburse and the customer is not right which is a poor business model. This is very sad as to last week I was their with my son and the meal was good so there is no consistency. So if you are looking for a steak house DO NOT waste your time as it is a hit or miss due to the economic issues ($145 order) according to this restaurant!!!!

First time being here and we enjoyed our dinner very much. We had french onion soup, creamed spinach and porterhouse for two. The food served timing is pretty good, not too rushing or too slow. Food is absolutely delicious, and I was very impressive that the porterhouse cut along the bone perfectly, no meat was wasted nor left on the bone.

This was the second time I’ve been here. I want to be clear that the staff was super nice and the service was excellent. That having been said, this was the worst steak my wife and I have ever had. Tomahawk Ribeye for 2 for $95. Asked for medium rare. It was served rare, under seasoned and greasy. Absolutely awful. To spend a total of $400 on a nice bottle of wine, sides and a steak like that is terrible. We tipped the wait staff and bar tender very well because they were AWESOME. We won’t be coming back.
