The food we had was good, and the design and decorating is interesting, but the best part for me was the service. It was busy and chaotic, and our server, a very nice person, was attentive enough and pleasant to talk to.
I ordered the Monte Christo and it did look beautiful, and it was delicious!
Some people dont realize, if you just order pancakes and eggs, you get pancakes and eggs. Nothing special about it. They miss the entire menu and ordered the most basic breakfast food, and complains when it comes out (looking fine) looking like a basic breakfast.
Some people need a reality check!

We enjoyed our time at Anna’s House. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the skillet and the French toast. Our kids ate almost all of their food too. The fresh squeezed Orange Juice was wonderful, it had so much flavor.
My kids were in awe of the decor of the building, admiring the old kitchen appliances, the toaster wall, and how all the tables had different coffee cups. The bright airy feeling made it all the more enjoyable too.

In for a short visit from out of town and brought our family of 6 in for breakfast on a Saturday. Seemed like a good idea since they live just up the road. Waited a while to be seated then placed an order for coffees which took a long time. No issue so far. Once the food order was placed we waited almost an hour for no food to ever show up. Server never checked on us until one of our party flagged her down where she told us ‘oh whoops looks like we never put the order’ – wait, what? Never put it in? We weren’t left with much choice other than to leave. In this experience, it seems they cannot handle the capacity. The server did not care or seem particularly bothered by the situation. Management was a no-show. No real apology, no make-good, just ‘whoops!’ Waste of 2 hours. Offended my family wasn’t worth the attention or effort.

I’m not sure what we missed. Everyone else seemed to like it here but it just want for us. The scrambled eggs were quite interesting Service was ungodly slow. Thought we were forgot about. Food wasn’t hot but like Luke warm. Think the sausage and bacon was microwaved. Way overpriced for what it is.

I came for my birthday and first annas house experience in may 2025. I liked it as much as i envisioned. It is the northland location that has the toaster display. That section was closed but i still got my photo. Food was really good in my opinion not like everything was from scratch but still tasty. They gifted me a giant cinnamon roll as my present.

Anna’s House is a great place- awesome food, breakfast or lunch! It’s also very kid friendly- the kids meals aren’t overpriced, and the food is just as good as the adult menu. The service and atmosphere are always outstanding. On our most recent visit, our server Lisa went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed from the moment we sat down to the moment we left! A VERY well deserved 5 stars!

Very unique atmosphere with the same great food I remember from Anna’s house 20 years ago! I had the Traditionalist breakfast, 2 eggs, meat, toast and potatoes. My aunt had the same with corned beef hash. So many unique choices as well. Great place!

My wife and I come here every week on Sunday as our breakfast date. Service is always good and so is the food. Wanted to shout out a server (Lisa) who was probably the best server we have had here. Super busy but she still got to us quickly, was attentive the right amount with out being over bearing, and has a great personality. Rarely do these reviews but she deserved it.

Had Valentines Day breakfast and everything was so good. Our server gave great instructions on how to best order and heat up the cinnamon pull-apart bread that we ordered to go. Several days later, upon checking my bank statement, I noticed an error. I called and spoke to Jody, the GM and she corrected the mistake efficiently. Let me be very clear, I do not feel the error was made on purpose, but a sign of great customer service is acknowledging the mistake and correcting it, so THANK YOU to the Anna’s House team for the delicious food and spot on customer service!

I started going to the Grandville Anna’s house a while ago, it was great. Years have passed and it seems like Anna’s House has fallen off the rails, or maybe it’s just this location and the Byron Center location. I had breakfast here on 12/10/24. The food was blah. Chicken and waffles. Looked good, but the waffle was thin, soft, and soggy. Breakfast lasagna. It was a block of all one consistency kind of like a sponge. I swear it tasted like they just reheated yesterday’s food. The cinnamon roll was nothing impressive, but they just smothered it with an inch of frosting to try to make up for it. Overall, this food was definitely not worth the $80 bill I got. I won’t be back.
