The meat was so good. We had the brisket sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were tender and flavorful. I used a variety of barbecue sauces, but I thought it tasted best without adding any. You can pick and add your own sauces to the sandwiches. The corn pudding was moist and had a nice sweet taste and the fries were extra crispy and delicious. Even though I was super full, I couldn’t stop eating.
I’m not saying this place is worth a special trip, but if you are looking for good bbq in the north suburbs, this is the place.

Tasty BBQ, decent salads, nice sides to choice from. Eat in or to-go, lots of drink options. Pictured is the smoked turkey and brisket. My 1 issue is the container they put the side salad(which good) in, is more like a soup bowl instead of a salad plate, so it is a real mess when you put the dressing on and try to mix it up.

Very nice place and clean! I loved all the decoration and style! 14 hour smoked & sliced brisket was delicious!!! I recommend roasted bacon Brussels sprout and sweet potato soufflé as side dishes!

My company ordered Real Urban when our planned cookout was rained out and we were desperate to find another place that can cater at the last minute. Luckily, we were able to reach them and they were able to get our order in and a few hours later, it came in. The pulled pork and brisket were delicious but the sweet potato souffle is a must here.

Great flavours, good dining space, low price point. Everything I love! I just got the special this time, so I’ll have to come again to try the core menu.

Consistently delicious! Their brisket is some of the best I’ve ever had… moist, lean, smoky, and generous portions. Burnt ends are also fantastic. Plenty of options for sauces and sides. Sides are not always the same level of flavor and texture as their meats, but still good. Atmosphere is fine, but nothing notable. It is always clean though, and staff is fast, efficient, and courteous. Overall, highly recommended if you’re in the area and looking for quality BBQ.

VERY surprised at how good it was. No, it’s not in the same league as the great BBQ houses across the country, but this place is no slouch. Staff is very nice. Plenty of nice, clean seating. Lots of great sides choices. I wish the meats had a little more pronounced flavor, but over all very few complaints. I’ll be back.

The brisket was pretty good. A half pound of brisket can honestly feed two people. The staff was friendly and fast. Ordered french fries, slaw and with the brisket. The BBQ sauces on the tables were delicious, although the bottles were a little sticky. Could use a wipe down. I would recommend having metal forks and knives instead of plastic for dine-in customers because the forks were too bendy. The ice tea is homemade and I highly recommend.

Pretty good BBQ. When the sides are fresh they are great but as they are served cafeteria style when they have been sitting around you might not get the freshest at times. I love the sliced smoked turkey and smoked chicken. Good pulled pork and brisket. Good ribs.
I was a little disappointed the last time I was in as the staff was not friendly which I have not experienced before that visit.

Not the place I remember.
From no greeting upon entering the restaurant to a rather tasteless salad (what happened to the one chock full of flavor and featuring hearts of palm??) that got all its flavor from blue cheese to the chinciest order of fries ever to be served…this place has changed considerably since we moved out of the area. I do believe the flavor of the brisket was spot on, even if it was the tiniest bit dry.
Two good things – no line at 4:45 on a Sunday, but one at 4:50, and they still offer a wide (and flavorful) variety of sugar cane pop.
Go, but maybe don’t have the highest expectations.
Ordered the Chopped Salad – base of basic head lettuce was disappointing, tomatoes barely ripe (hint, don’t refrigerate them before cutting open, they ripen quite well on the counter, but not in the fridge), so much cheese, it was overwhelming, but truly the basis of all the flavor, and a super sweet balsamic dressing.
