Nice place for a quiet Easter Dinner. Good service and really good food. My wife had the Baked Haddock and I enjoyed the Smoked Pork Shoulder. Healthy servings on both. We’ll go back again!

AMAZING. You have to try this place. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable and bar is well stocked. Portions are huge. Best wings in the state. Prime rib is to die for. Drinks are very well made. You won’t regret it.

My husband and I dined here tonight and had a fantastic time. The service was impeccable; Shannon was a phenomenal waitress! Super attentive but not intrusive. The food and drinks were awesome! I had the salmon and my husband had a burger and we were both pleased with the portion size and quality of the food. The restaurant has a great atmosphere; comfortable and classy without being pretentious. If we lived closer we’d be more frequent visitors!

I came here for the first time a few months ago after moving to St Albans from South Burlington. It quickly became my go to spot for a romantic evening with my wife. The food has been great every time – especially the poutine. The place is always clean. The staff is super friendly. It is a little on the pricey side, but the quality makes it worth the money. Big fan of the cocktails too. They do have live music on the weekends, but I haven’t stuck around for that. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Their food used to be good. We would go when we wanted a more upscale but not super expensive dinner. Too bad that something seems to have changed in the past few months. I ordered the meatloaf, and it came out hard as a rock. I couldn’t even cut it! The glaze seemed burned, that it was sitting under a hot lamp for too long. They were rude when we asked for it to be sent back.
Wait times for food/salad/bread are way up, taking almost 20 minutes just to get drinks (a glass of wine and a soda) and bread when the place was empty.
We’ll wait a bit and try again, to see if it was a fluke, but honestly, with speaking to other folks, it seems that they’re just bad. Too bad in a town with not too many restaurants.

Used to be known as “One Federal” and sign on the street says as much but be cool, be cool! It’s the same great place! All my love for their ceasar salad here, amazing. Also love on the cheddar ale soup, a real treat. All entrees are OK. The pasta dishes are not all superb in my experience. Burgers are pretty good and service is generally spot on. Try the bar, good drinks. Outdoor patio for weekend music. Its One Fed with a new name basically. Worth a try when deciding up here in the Saint A.

We go several time a year and the food is almost always great. The ongoing issue with this restaurant is the length of time to order and receive you food. Waiting an hour for the main entree is not unusual. Surely they are aware. I have hypothesized that it must be due to a very small kitchen and they must be forced to prepare a small number of meals at a time…..along with probably a much smaller than needed staff. Again that’s just a wild guess on my part. Nonetheless we keep going back. The clam chowder is incredible. The Vermonter burger is award winning. If you can wait an hour for your food then by all means try them out!

Jamie the chef is spectacular! He’s given a new twist to some real favorites! We had two of the featured specials tonight and were NOT disappointed! Our waiter was attentive, not overwhelming, and entertaining! We had a wonderful meal and will ABSOLUTELY be back soon!

My wife and I had dinner here about a month ago. With Children and both of us working full time jobs it is difficult to find the time to go out on a date. This was probably the best restaurant experience I’ve had in St. Albans. It was obvious that the chef took great pride in the food he/she prepares. We will definitely return in the future!
