I give it 4 stars , almost a 5 just not there is because the restroom is a walk thru the convenience store to wash hands. I didn’t mind but can’t give it 5 stars as the portions were small and left nothing to bring home. The food tastes amazing and very good. The atmosphere is just a little off. But in the hustle of larger cities this type of set up is more common.

This is a small restaurant located adjacent to a gas station on Bandera. They are from Sri Lanka and have some items on the menu, but don’t make them except for dinner since they are still trying to build the business and figure out that people will like.
The service is friendly and the food on the buffet is pretty standard. The chicken curry was a particular standout for me. The veg dishes were just a little different but pretty okay. Naan was served tableside and was crisp and tasty. We were told that they were going to evolve the menu and I am looking forward to the new version

We went to Ruby’s Cuisine of India by recommendation from our neighbor and the food was amazing!! We both had the chicken tikka masala and man what treat it was. We asked for spicy and since it wasn’t as spicy as we like the waiter rushed to the kitchen and gave us the extra spicy we needed. Great customer service. I recommend Ruby’s Cuisine of India and you will not be disappointed. This will be our spot for fine Indian cuisine. The garlic naan was totally delicious and complimented my dish. My only disappointment was that I didn’t take a picture of the chicken tikka masala but because I couldn’t stop savoring my meal. The sweet tea was also amazing.

Great buffet, 8 varieties of main course dishes all traditional and delicious, with steady flow of freshly made nan. Five or so desserts. Everything was very good. Simple atmosphere. Great service, easy going place. Stopped in for two, and bill was around $28. They also have a website and food to go. Fill up with gas while there, it’s attached to a gas station!

Called to make sure they were open at 11am. They said yes. Walked to the door and it was locked. Hours say 11am buffet. That means everything should be out and ready and it was not. First time here; not a great first impression. Chicken Tikka masala was good; the chicken not dry at all. The Samosas that they finally put out were delicious and spices on point. The rice was pretty bland from other Indian restaurants. The Saag paneer was just okay. The naan which took forever to bring out was very bland. Like it should have some salt.. This tasted like it had none. The tandoori chicken the skin was crispy but a tad dry. The Kheer was pretty milky with some rice..more milk then rice. If I wanted milk I would have had cereal. Ruby took our drink order and brought them out but I had flag people down to order other stuff and get the check. Based on the reviews not at all what I expected on the service. Don’t think we will be coming back.

First off the FOOD is incredible, the flavors are all there and not a single dish is lacking in flavor. The chicken Tikka masala could not be better!! The paneer Saag is also right on point. The chicken curry has some delicious cilantro flavors that are refreshing and bright. The samosas keep us coming back!! The texture and flavor of those samosas are drool worthy! The variety of dishes for a lunch buffet is awesome just like the to-go option with fresh naan.
Ruby the owner is so so kind, I love to support her local family business.
Indian food is my favorite food and this Indian food is my new Go-to FAVORITE Indian restaurant. Do not sleep on this hole in the wall restaurant!! I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for opening this restaurant and offering such delicious cooking!!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem of an Indian and Sri Lankan restaurant here in San Antonio, and I’m so glad I did! You would miss it if you’re not looking for it, as it is a part of a gas station. The food here is absolutely amazing – everything is so fresh and flavorful, and every dish I’ve tried has been delicious. The staff are also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.
This place is definitely a hole in the wall kind of spot, but don’t let that fool you – it’s one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. I highly recommend the chicken curry and the saag paneer- both were absolutely fantastic. And if you’re a fan of naan bread (who isn’t?), you won’t be disappointed here – it’s some of the best I’ve ever had.
Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a great Indian restaurant in San Antonio, definitely give this one a try – you won’t be disappointed!

While this restaurant isn’t a buffet anymore, the quality of the foods and customer service were superb. You can tell that the owners really care about the quality and craft of their cuisines as the foods we seemed quite authentic. Would totally recommend to my friends and would definitely come back.

The family and I were going to grab lunch at our usual Indian spot. They were closed today and so we found this alternative. Let me tell you: absolutely fantastic! The restaurant itself is pretty unassuming so we didn’t expect much, but everything we ate was delicious. The saga paneer could have used a little bit more salt but I was not disappointed. Butter chicken, mixed tandoori, cheese and garlic naan. Great place.
