If I could post 0 stars I would. I went there and the front lady seemed nice…until she asked me what did I order and I stated the chicken and rice.one lady came behind her and asked her something (I didn’t hear) and she said “yeah, they like their chicken and rice. And laughed What you mean THEY like their chicken and rice. Okay so I got my food and left. Came home and I noticed that 2 of my 4 pieces of chicken wasn’t chicken ….. It literally looks like a cat or dog paw…..fried. I’ll upload the picture, if I can. Im never eating from there ever again. There’s no telling what the rest of that food may be. I’ll never eat ” Chinese” food again. Y’all be careful out here. If you don’t see them eating their food then you don’t eat it either.

Am very very rarely out this direction and was craving Chinese food. Found this place was near by so decided to give it a shot. Love the name. It was just after five pm on a Saturday night and looks like they were ready for the dinner rush. Our food was prepared quickly and came out to us in their small lobby super hot. We ordered to eat in. Their dinner special was $8.50 including tax, fried rice, an egg roll, and a drink with free refills I could serve myself. A decent portion, more than I should eat and piping hot. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and my wife had sesame chicken. Both of us thought it was delicious… well done. As a 97 sanitation grade.

Ordered pepper chicken got some type of general tso chicken without sauce with green pepper pieces added after the fact. Called to get it corrected no answer to far too return to store. Been a faithful customer for over two years this was terrible….

Use to be best I had in Kinston but over the last year they’ve went downhill bad. The general Taos chicken looks like clumps of meat glued together you asked for spicy and there’s no spice to it at all I ordered the combo today got that sticky clumpy brown meat looking stuff the post to be chicken plus the rice has no flavor meat inside at all supposed to be pork fried rice I’ll be lucky if I seen two pieces of pork in it so I ordered chicken wings used to be very good now they come out with a burnt taste to them the only good thing about that place right now is the female that works the front counter.

The food was pretty terrible. My shrimp fried rice only had a few small shrimp and they were extremely overcooked. The chicken wings tasted like they were from a few days before and refried. I also had philly cheesesteak egg rolls and was HIGHLY disappointed because they didnt taste fresh either. Overall, all the food tasted like it sat there and they refried it to heat it back up. Its safe to say that I wont be going back.
