Excellent! I highly recommend sampling their hot salsa. I ordered a grilled steak taco along with a chicken burrito made out of grilled chicken and topped with cheese. California Missouri offers a nice sample of California Mexican food. The service was excellent and the cost was average. Even though it is not the most aesthetically appealing restaurant the decorum is unimportant since the restaurant is indubitably clean and offers the customer a pleasant meal and a happy environment.

Food is authentic and yummy, great portions, friendly and clean small diner-style environment. The smells of made-to-order spices and meats that fills the air and quiet ambiance makes this one of our favorite places. Prices are good too!

I was told that the food at Jalisco’s was better than average by a friend. He said don’t let the building fool you. Extremely glad that I didn’t. The only thing better than the food was the very attentive server. If you are driving through California MO and your hungry, this place will not let you down!

I personally love this restaurant. It is clean, Pleasant atmosphere and the food is really amazing, most of the time. Last time I was disappointed because the chicken breasts were seared too much and we’re a little bit like chicken jerky on the plate twitch gives you 2 chicken breast topped with six jumbo shrimp and cheese on top of that and you get beans and rice and sour cream and lettuce and tomatoes. I think it was just a fluke because I’ve been there many times and it’s always been wonderful! I give them 5 stars because they work very hard and try their best to keep everyone’s drinks filled everyone’s needs taking care of and they put out great food that is both tasty and looks great you will never go there and come away hungry!

We eat at Jalisco’s 3-4 times a month and my whole family loves it. We have never had a single bad experience, the food is fantastic and fairly priced, large portions and drinks are always great. The staff are amazing as well, the owner knows most of his customers by name and is always very nice.

This place really needs shut down. Electrical extention cords, boarded areas, dishes were dirty, handed us utensils with wet nasty napkins folded around, table sauces out of date and crusty, rat traps everywhere around the building, menu looked like it had been eaten by mice, chips were stale and looked like they were cooked twice because they were stale but it didn’t help, the salsa tasted old, and I could go on and on. Did not feel safe eating here.

The food and service is good. The parking is very limited and the owner/manager/employees should NOT park right outside the door. For that matter they should not even park in the lot. There is parking across the street that they should use. All parking on the lot should be for customers. And they most definitely should not be bringing their babies to work with them. There is a baby bouncy seat, swing and bouncer sitting right in the dining room. You are there to work not hang out with your baby. They make baby sitters. Get one.
