From NYC’s award-winning aperitivo bar comes Dante Beverly Hills, Dante’s first restaurant outside of New York City. Situated on the rooftop of the Maybourne Hotel, Dante Beverly Hills blends Dante’s beloved hospitality with Californian sensibilities, offering an Italian-inspired food menu – centered around a wood-fired oven – to pair with aperitivo-style cocktails.

My friend and I came by on a Sunday for their happy hour.
The restaurant is on the rooftop by the hotel pool, we had a good view from our seat.
The happy hour drinks were smaller than regular drinks but costs $10 each! Which is a great deal in today’s economy!
The server was very attentive and was able to help us with our order, and the drinks we ordered were all on point!
My friend and I truly enjoyed it and will definitely come back!

Located on the 9th floor of the Maybourne Beverly Hills, Dante offers sweeping views of Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills. The space is beautifully designed with royal blue plush velvet booths, white marble surface and an elegant Mediterranean inspired fresco by Abel Macias.
The menu here leans coastal Italian with wood-fired pizzas, pasts and seafood, and we found the food to be perfectly cooked, hot and flavorful. Favorites include the vongole and Bolognese.
Great for people watching and a slow dining, Dante is a discrete and high-glam hotspot tucked away in one Beverly Hill’s most luxurious hotel. Reservations are strongly recommended but walk-ins are available. An excellent place to rest after a busy day of shopping!

Dante Beverly Hills is a very romantic spot with a great atmosphere. The service was excellent—one of the staff members took our order without mentioning that the pasta wasn’t available, and to make up for it, they generously gave us a pasta on the house. They even treated us to a complimentary tiramisu, which was such a lovely touch. The food was delicious overall, and the vibe made the entire experience feel special and memorable.

Greetings – this was my fourth visit to Dante’s within the last six weeks. On three of the four, I was seated at a two-top with different women friends. On one of the four I celebrated my birthday there in a large velvet booth for 5 family members. Each experience was either excellent or exceptional. And the reason two of the visits get highest marks is that our server Danny was/is incredible as a server and as a hospitable host! I’ve just finished reading the book, Unreasonable Hospitality, about arguably the best restaurant in NY and how its over-the-top hospitality is what made the restaurant so memorable and how the restaurant developed regulars. It’s all about authentic connection to the diners — while also being on top of the details of the meal, and recognizing the unstated needs of the guests. Danny is a gem! I’m so glad I was lucky enough to have him as a server tonight and that now each of my friends wants to go back to Dante’s. Connecting goes a long way! The only sour ending that has nothing to do with the restaurant but is worth noting — $35 for valet parking is pretty outrageous. The validation took $5 off which then becomes a tip for the driver-so I would say – it’s a shame after leaving feeling taken care of — and then by all standards- that’s a high price to park and a small validation discount. Something to think about, perhaps. Leave the diner thinking it ALL was worth it!!! (By this time, I’ve tasted 3/4 of the menu and every item exceeded expectations. Shoutouts to the radicchio apple salad, the Ahi tuna crudo, the burrata, the pork chop, chicken, branzino, and every pasta!)

The views at this restaurant for lunch time are breathtaking overlooking the Sunset Strip, Hollywood Hills and Beverly Hills. I want to return to dine at this restaurant again in evening for nighttime views of the hills. Food was amazing, loved the quality of my burger. The martini was memorable and sincere.

What a gorgeous restaurant with excellent views. After trying Dante in New York City, we had to try Dante Beverly Hills. The risotto is still on my mind months later and the cocktails were exceptional.

Big hype for the rooftop views at Dante in Beverly Hills, but what a letdown. The food was genuinely untasteful. Everything tasted average at best for the insane prices they charge; felt like paying premium for mediocre chain-level Italian.
Worse was the service. Our waiter disappeared for long stretches, plates sat uncleared forever. I was planning on leaving no tip at all and when the bill arrived (already shocking with all the hidden fees), he got downright rude and made rude comments. It was embarrassing and uncalled for, especially at these prices, you’d expect professional, not attitude.
We were here celebrating our engagement and ruined the whole night. Views are nice, but skip the food and definitely skip the staff drama. Never again.
I would expect a realistic reply from the company and not to copy and paste reply similar to most reviews.

We were lucky enough to get a balcony table for two just in time for sunset, and the view paired with the ambiance was perfect. The atmosphere felt vibrant yet relaxed—great spot for a casual evening or a special occasion.
We ordered a few drinks for the table and they did not disappoint. The pesto pasta was definitely the highlight of the meal—rich, fresh, and so satisfying. The pizza was good too with a nice crisp crust.

Dante might be my favorite restaurant in Beverly Hills. It’s elegant, romantic and cozy, without being pretentious. It has breathtaking views and some of the best cocktails in town. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly taken care of. We started with the burrata, yellowfin tuna crudo, and mare misto—all were amazingly delicious. For mains, we tried the margarita and fungi pizzas, along with the fazzoletti and bucatini al pomodoro pastas. Everything was wonderful, but the pizzas in particular were my favorite. This place hits every mark for a memorable night out. I’ll definitely be back soon and look forward to checking out their happy hour specials soon!

Best cheesecake I’ve had in a while. The Negroni is just as good as the ones in their NYC west village location. However the views here are the differentiator that takes it over the top.
