Not bad, but Keoki’s Loco Moco is better. As others have said, they just use frozen hamburger patties here. However, the spam musubi is made fresh and they give you a ton of chicken katsu, and it’s nice and crunchy. Everything was made to order and piping hot!

**Aloha Hawaiian BBQ Review**

We stumbled upon Aloha Hawaiian BBQ by accident. We usually place orders for pickup from another Hawaiian BBQ restaurant in Salinas but, in a rush, we placed our order at Aloha instead. I didn’t realize the mix-up until it was time to pick up our food and noticed the reviews while entering the address on Google Maps. My heart sank, as the reviews were significantly lower than other Hawaiian BBQ restaurants we frequent.

Long story short, we had our food and were thrilled! I don’t understand why this restaurant has negative reviews for their food quality. Unlike many other Hawaiian BBQ restaurants, Aloha’s food isn’t overly sweet. The mac salad nicely seasoned, the chicken katsu sauce was savory with good consistency, and the chicken katsu and musubi were perfectly prepared, portions

The portions were good, providing great value for the price. I’ve been to a lot of Hawaiian BBQ restaurants, both on the mainland and in Hawaii, and this place is excellent. The savory flavors really stood out and made for an exceptional meal. We will definitely be returning to Aloha Hawaiian BBQ. Highly recommended!

We stumble upon this restaurant after taking a swim at the Salinas Aquatic Center just across it. As you enter you will be greeted by the yummy smell of barbecue food! The ambiance will entrance you and will take you to Hawaii…from the tiki wall display, palm trees everywhere and the tropical ceiling! Food was served quick and hot! Very delicious! We got the barbecue combo, the beef and the seafood! We also ordered spam musubi! We also got a big single scoop of green tea ice cream! Everything was a delight! We will be coming back soon!

Only reason i came here was because haiku was closed and even that was a HUGE mistake! Small portions, enough for a kid! Horrible taste and smell, almost like marinated with tequila, didn’t even bother to cut the chicken, their horrible manners didn’t help! 0/10 WON’T EVER COME BACK EVEN IF IT’S THE ONLY PLACE OPEN IN TOWN!

I decided to try this restaurant since I was missing L&L BBQ in the Bay Area. I didn’t have a great experience with Haiku Hawaiian BBQ and found this place close by. The food was made fresh at the time I ordered and the BBQ chicken and fried shrimp were really good. I also tried the spam masubi which was good as well. The restaurant itself was very clean and organized although we took our food to go. I liked this spot much better than Haiku for the food and atmosphere, but still it did not compare to L&L. The mac salad was just not for me. I do not know for some reason the taste was just off/very different. The cook and service was nice but they made a big point to ask if my debit/credit card was mine and see my ID which I find strange for a restaurant. They actually held onto my ID for several minutes while processing my food order I thought it strange. They serve Hawaiian themed flavors of ice cream here which was cool although I didn’t try them. I didn’t see any macadamia cookies which they sell at L&L which I usually buy as well when I go so FYI. I will go here again for take out but will be looking for other Hawaiian BBQ restaurants in the area to try as well. Thanks!

The chicken was very dark like it was over cooked or the grease wasn’t changed. They ruined the macaroni and put flipping tuna in it. What it someone was allergic. Idk why you guys had to change that for. Keep it HAWAIIAN. I actually lived in Hawaii and they don’t do that. It was disgusting. Do better.
