A must stop when visiting Cape May County. Circle Pizza offers a thin crust pie that is tasty. Normally would give it five star, but giving it 4 for the following reasons. While I realize this place is in Avalon, for a 16 inch pie, the price of $21.95 is a bit pricey. While on vacation? I don’t mind digging deep, but I would not pay these prices on a regular basis. Also, a sign is posted on menu board that prices are subject to change without notice. While the posted price was $21.95, a large pie was $22.89. The garlic bread that was $6.99 was $7.99 and a small 2 ounce sauce cup w as $1.15. While I understand the need to increase prices, take the time to change the menus.

When I ordered my pie over the phone for pickup, when we arrived, I decided to eat it there being there was nobody sitting in dinning area. I arrived early and requested the pizza be served on a tray being we were going to eat in. After waiting a while, I looked at the to go boxes and noticed the pizza was sitting in a pizza coffin (pizza box). Not sure how long it was sitting , but as we all know, a pie fresh from the oven is much different than one that changes in a box. Yes, I know I ordered takeout and changed my mind, but how hard is it to put it on a tray.

All in all, I will it was a great pizza and I’m sure I’ll always stop in. I’ve never had anything but the pizza so I can’t really comment.

Avalon has limited options in the off-season, and this place is often one of the few I can count on for a quick bite. The food is just okay and not worth the price for me. The pizza is greasy and bland, with small slices and portions that don’t feel like you’re getting good value. I’ve tried a bit of everything—cheese steak, buffalo tenders, salad—and it’s all fairly bland and not very memorable.

Service is usually friendly, and they’re open when other spots aren’t, which helps. But unless you’re starving and desperate, I’d look elsewhere for something more flavorful and filling. If you’re in Avalon and need a quick bite, you might end up here, but don’t expect a standout meal or great value for money.

Pizza and cheesesteaks? Delicious, no doubt. But let’s be real—Avalon has a knack for turning everything into a luxury item. We decided to indulge in a large pizza and a cheesesteak, and all we wanted to wash it down was a simple glass of water. Imagine my surprise when the host informed us that bottled water was our only option. I inquired about regular water, only to be told that we’d need to purchase a cup for that privilege. “How much for the cup?” I asked, half-expecting a reasonable answer. “$2.85,” she replied. I had to pass. What kind of restaurant doesn’t offer complimentary water? It’s like charging for air! I guess I’ll be saving my pennies and my appetite for establishments that appreciate the value of hydration. Consider this my farewell to this overpriced joint!

Sounds like you don’t trust your customers. The same customers who keep you in business. Why not provide pitchers of water to your dine-in paying customers like almost every restaurant does.

The BEST pizza you will EVER have. We have been visiting circle pizza for over 20 years. We visit every summer when we are vacationing in Avalon, NJ. We wish having their pizza wasn’t just limited to our summer vacations. Also, their cheesesteak eggrolls with the spicy ketchup is 10/10. We look forward to this pizza EVERY year!!! we love circle so much!!

Severed frozen avocados on my salad. When I asked for more dressing on my family size salad they wanted to charge me another dollar. I recommend going to the many other restaurants in this street.

Love their pizza and just had a great Italian hoagie. Soft seeded semolina bread with just the right amount of vinegar and oil and oregano. Well be back. Lunch special look great too.

I called an order in and the person over the phone said my order was confirmed. When I can to pick it up they said the couldn’t see the order and didn’t have my food. I re ordered and just asked the manager Dustin if they could put a little priority on it because I was late to an event. Dustin not only got my food out to me within 5 minutes. But he also refunded my payment. Great manager and a great experience which could have otherwise ended up poorly.

Provides a very large pizza, which is good for big hungry families. My one bite review 7.1. Took my pizza to go, had family in the car, kids screaming they were hungry, wife yelling I was driving too fast while trying to find a spot to park and eat, my midlife crisis triggered (how did I end up here). After finding a location, we run out of the minivan, sit at an outside table near the arcade, opened the pizza box and the pizza wasn’t cut. Just one big uncut pie. We had to rip into it like animals. I have been on this planet for many many years and this is the first time I bought an uncut pizza. This is the quality of workers you get now. The A-players are collecting checks, the people who don’t care are working.
