Great prices. Plenty of food. Great portions. The whiting tasted too fishy for my taste. It is what it is. Under seasoned but a great fry.
Sides were just okay. The Mac & cheese didn’t have any seasoning.
Stick with LUTFI’s instead. Only went here because the location for the LUTFI’s I wanted was closed.
No salt in the entire restaurant. Spaghetti was mid as well. But the fried chicken wings were far better seasoned than the fish.
Had to yell my order to the staff. Seems like they hated working there.

This is the first time trying Lunas. We had the fried chicken. Omg! That was outstanding and delicious! I will return to try their other food items. Highly recommend this place. Its our new go to place for yummy food. Staff was very friendly and its a good amount of food for their prices. Well worth it!

Excellent! Hot, crispy, not greasy. Generous serving sizes. Catfish, wings, hush puppies, and a ton of crispy fries cost less than $25 bucks for enough for 3 people. Super friendly staff and the place is spotlessly clean inside and out. No drive thru but plenty of parking and easy access back to Troost. 5 stars-highly recommend.

Ordered online through their website. Was ready when I picked it up. Took me 30 minutes to get home and it was still piping hot and delicious! Drums/thighs, green beans, & mac&cheese. PERFECT every time!

The food was excellent! I paid $20.55 for 2 pieces of catfish and 10 shrimp. I love that is made fresh to order. The wait time actually wasn’t bad given that it is made when you place the order. I waited abt 20-25 minutes but it was worth the wait. I suggest placing your order online and waiting before heading there depending on where you live. I have a 3/5 for service because the lines should be more clear. There was no clear line for pickup vs placing an order.

This was by far the best chicken I have had in KC. It was crispy and seasoned to perfection. Don’t forget their signature Luna sauce. It paired really well with the shrimp. Prices are affordable, great portions

First time visit passed by and turned around to try it out,sitting off to the side,nice menu, prices were ok…ordered and got my ticket,3pc dark chicken combo. …came with choice of can sodas or bottle water that was cool,but they forgot to give me my Cole slaw…chicken was ok…nice crust I didn’t really taste the flavor but I know it was there and that could be a good thing because the crust was so good so I will try them again . . Delicious fried chicken and fish. They have a great selection of flavors. The tilapia was very good and the wing dings were excellent. They make the food fresh to order. The house made sauce is great for dipping.

I waited too long to try Luna’s. The quality and price of the wings is outstanding. I got the mango hab and jerk sauce. Both delicious. If you are looking for great take out or dine in food on Troost, look no further. I will be back to try their other options.

Very very disappointed order 85 pieces of thighs& drums like always and the chicken is usually seasoned just right .. This time I ordered 85pieces omg it was nasty no seasoning on it at all, maybe they have a new cook who doesn’t use seasoning I don’t know. But we ended up throwing all that chicken away because it was just nasty. Money wasted we decided we won’t be going back for awhile.. Very disappointed
