It’s like waffle house had a baby with a landfill. Dont bring your kids in there if you care about their health. They still allow smoking in there and it’s just gross. There’s roaches crawling everywhere like their pets or something. I think one of them had a collar on. The health inspector must have been paid off in cigarettes and burnt coffee. Cause that place is just oozing with the yuck. See that dumpster picture? Smell it and eat out of it, not only will it taste and smell better than the actual restaurant…. It’s free and the roaches already have a place to live next door so they won’t bother you in there.

Really enjoyed breakfast at this Griddle House. It has a homey atmosphere and staff is friendly and very receptive. Food was delicious, freshly made, and my son and I cleaned up our plates. I’m from NY and wish I could find this restaurant with the same staff, patrons, and everything else in my neck of the woods. Bacon was crispy, eggs were moist without being runny, grits were tasty, and my coffee was just perfect! If you’re in the area or passing through make sure to check them out! You won’t be disappointed!

I have been going here for over a decade and it’s always been consistent food quality, service and just a staple in this area. I will say to please cut them some slack.. they had the same crew working for years and I believe that a couple of them had to retire. The owner had to train a whole new crew… and she’s the nicest person so cut them some slack… I have no doubt they will find their groove…

Griddle House is one of my Husband’s an My Favorite places to eat. The Food is absolutely amazing 100%. Service can be a bit off at times depending on what days we are there.. Still a very Detail-oriented, Welcoming and Friendly Atmosphere. Only restaurant around that allows smoking. For all the smokers I very much recommend this place.

Must be under new management based on other reviews. Prices were awesome. Felt so good about my breakfast because it felt like the owner actually cared about the quality of his food and was running around filling up drinks and being modestly sociable. Growing up my father smoked in restaurants. As a millennial this was a new experience for me and it felt unnatural smoking inside a restaurant but honestly I really enjoyed the option because I believe in being able to make decisions like smoking or non smoking when you actually own something.

No where on this page does it mention that this is a SMOKING establishment, it does say good for kids and that’s DEAD wrong, I would never bring my child to a place where they’d be suffocated with smoke. Gross

Always a pleasure!!! Been going on and off for years.great people!! So when we saw them back open we were excited to stop in.But these folks they got in there now it’s nasty food was bland and definitely overpriced.Every table was nasty barely got service!!! If you are expecting Ms Nita’s atmosphere warm with great food do t go there it’s gone.
