Most authentic Chinese food in Cincinnati! Our favorite place to go. The flavor is always on the spot and it’s never too salty. If you love authentic Chinese food this is the place!

I ordered the twice cooked pork lunch special. The pork was basically unsmoked bacon that was 80% fat, absolutely disgusting! . It had a little bit of a funky flavor as well. I also had the $10.99 Sichuan cold noodles. It was basically noodles drenched with hot chili oil, terrible. I have eaten all over Asia and have eaten in some great Chinese restaurants when I lived in NYC, so I have a pretty good idea of what good Chinese food should taste like. Low quality ingredients and bad preparation was the main theme with these dishes!! Regardless good food is good food and in my opinion , it was overpriced in terribly disappointing.

You need to get the dry chili fish and the beef westlake soup here. They are consistently serving some of the best Sichuan food in Cincinnati, and you can’t beat it.

I used to live in Sichuan so I really was hoping this place would be good. Unfortunately, the food was extremely bland. The twice cooked pork wasn’t bad, and I appreciated having green garlic, but was lacking in doubanjiang. And the ganbian sijidou looked great but was completely flat in flavor. Just garlic. No pork, no huajiao, no lajiao. Not the worst Sichuan I’ve had by any means but very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Definitely a good place for some Chinese food. You can tell from the majority of customers that come to dine in are Asian that the food is authentic (I’m Chinese). The flavor was balanced and not heavy on sauce. I would say there is still an American touch since some of the dishes are sweeter than you would find at a restaurant in China, but still fairly tasty. You do have the option to add more spices or hot peppers as well. Parking was easy to find, but I would expect to be more busy during lunch hours.

The first time we ordered the spicy grilled fish, it was very good, the twice cooked pork was also very good, the second time we were a little disappointed. Maoxuewang should be a dish based on duck blood, but there was no duck blood in it. I think at least we should tell the guests about it before they order. The spicy chicken pieces were very small and dry, and there was no chicken taste when you bite into them. I don’t recommend these two dishes, but I think the other dishes are okay!

Simply fabulous. Everything was served with perfection. Everyone working was so kind and attentive. Excellent recommendations and checking back to see if our food was done to our liking. The hot and sour soup was such a perfect balance and a perfect way to start our meal. The crab Rangoon were delicate and flavorful, probably the best I have had. Everything was outstanding and the service was perfect. This is a must try there is nothing that will disappoint you here.

This place is absolutely amazing—by far the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! The pork fried rice was flavorful and came in a portion big enough to share (though you won’t want to). The fried dumplings were crispy, delicious, and generously served, making them a perfect starter.

The twice-cooked pork was the real standout—tender, flavorful, and served in a portion so hearty I had leftovers to enjoy the next day. The quality and quantity here are unmatched. I’ll definitely be back soon!

You have no idea how addictive the twice-cooked pork here is! The meat is perfectly marbled, stir-fried until crispy and flavorful, and paired with garlic sprouts. Each bite is savory with a hint of spiciness, making it the ultimate rice companion. I’m already craving another serving after finishing. Highly recommended!

I really love Sichuan Palace! You can get truly authentic Sichuan cuisine here. The cumin beef is excellent — very flavorful and the meat is incredibly tender. I also highly recommend the Sichuan red bean curd. The service is always wonderful as well. Highly recommended!
