China is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Anderson, SC. We gladly drive from downtown just to grab takeout here. The food is always fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Pro tip: ask for the housemade Chinese mustard for your egg rolls — it’s a game changer. They do have a few tables, but this spot is mainly geared toward takeout. Just note they’re closed on Tuesdays.

My wife and I have been exclusively buying our Chinese Take-Out food from China on SC Hwy 24 in Anderson, SC 29626 since before we moved to Anderson, so this has been our favorite Chinese Restaurant for almost the past 20 years!
The service is the very best!
They have always gotten our orders exactly right!
We usually order the combination, Pork LoMein dinner, which includes fried rice and egg roll and, of course, fortune cookie.
Sometimes we order conbination dinner, Pepper Steak instead or in addition to the Lo Mein.
Those have always been perfectly the very best.
We have also tried the Chicken Chow Mein combination and the Sweet and Sour Pork combination. All are made perfectly!
They can expect us to cobtinue to be their regular customers forever!

Ordered the sweet and sour shrimp. Not sure if there was shrimp inside the batter because it had so much batter. It was so overcooked the batter was hard and crumbled when I bit into it. The worst sweet and sour shrimp I have ever had. The egg roll was saturated with grease and dripping when I took it out of the bag. On the positive side the pork fried rice was very good.
