work here. They are unbelievably kind, they can make you laugh easily and always put a smile on your face. They are quick with orders to get you in and out incase on a rush, food and drinks are always amazing, and overall just an amazing dunkin. Every time i want it, I go here.

There always rude, they always rush and tell me to pull up that used to be my favorite dunkin but recently everytime I go there they are just completely ignorant and don’t let me finish ordering without saying pull up, but this time they gave me 4 ketchup packets for 4 orders of hash browns so I asked for a couple more and the lady had the audacity to tell me there’s only a certain amount and I couldn’t have anymore when ketchup packets are literally completely complementary so 1 star I’m not going back.

My husband and I went to the Southport N.Y. Dunkin on Sunday 3/23 around 10am. We had the worst experience we have ever had at any Dunkin establishment. The man working the drive thru rushed us to place a order. While I was asking my husband for his order the man told us to pull ahead, that we were talking too long, holding up the line and that he would take out order at the window. Mind you, that we were only at the speaker for a few moments. Once we got to window, I told him I didn’t get a chance to finish looking over the menu. He told me that I should have came inside if I didn’t know what I wanted and that the drive thru is for people who know what they want. I remained calm and explained to him that I felt he was being unfair and that I am a paying customer just like everyone else and that there aren’t rules on who can go through the drive thru or not. The man told me that I was not understanding him and raised his voice. My husband stepped in and told him his customer service was unacceptable. I in no way was trying to hold up the line or cause an issue and was very respectful the entire time however, the man at the window was rude and made me feel less than. I am extremely unhappy with this experience and do not wish to return to that store again. I wanted to report this because it is not right for him to treat people that way. Especially when I was nothing but kind and respectful.

The customer service needs to be addressed in this location. I’m 6 feet tall and 280 pounds, so I’m easy to see even though I was wearing camo sweatpants. I was standing in their pick-up area for an order that I could see was ready. 10 people behind the counter and it took someone 5 minutes to say a word to me. Regardless of the semantics of the situation no one said a word to me until it was obvious I was getting annoyed. I worked in customer service for well over a decade so, I get we aren’t always right. This time the customer was right and the man who was in charge of getting my order tried to argue with me about it. Completely unacceptable. Starbucks would never act like this.

Not a bad place to go if you are in need of quick breakfast and an attempt at handmade coffees. Aces and eights across the street can provide both as well without the coldness of the food or employees. I have frequented this location for the exact reasons stated above and have yet to see an improvement. The employees are very curt in their communication with customers. Multiple times I have had breakfast sandwiches which were lukewarm and even had unmelted cheese slices. It is a Dunkin Donuts, if you want factory made donuts it’s the place to go, if you want a quality handmade coffee drink, a delicious breakfast sandwich and positive customer interaction look toward other area options.
