The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

I ordered a large variety from BBQ Chicken and honestly… it wasn’t worth the $156 price tag. Yes, I paid it so you don’t have to.
The good:
The Cheesling wings were the standout. Sweet, well-seasoned, and actually unique. Easily the best flavor.
The crunch on the wings is amazing—even the next day.
Fried dumplings were delicious. No complaints there.
The mid:
Galbi & Gangnam style had very peculiar flavors. Not terrible, but nothing I’d crave again—about a 5/10.
The disappointing:
Ordered Uber took almost a hour for order to come soggy on fries, wings to be barely sauces, and Uber driver to have to sit and wait for an extremely long time!
Ddeok-Boek was so spicy I couldn’t even try it like I have had spicy I’m from New Orleans but hat spice was something of another level like whew they need to put 25 peppers next to it smell it and your throat start burning.
Secret Sauce, Honey Garlic, and Ganjeong were surprisingly bland. Almost tasteless.
I air-fried the wings the next day and ended up adding my own sauces just to enjoy them.
So Ddeok So Ddeok was just… weird. The bread part didn’t make sense and honestly tasted nasty to me.
Fries were soggy, which was a letdown.
Everything is à la carte, so the cost adds up FAST.
Final suggestion:
If you go, stick to Cheesling wings + fried dumplings and save your money. Anything else is a gamble.

We LOVED bbq chicken from Korea. We were so excited when they first opened. We’ve been going dine in and delivery, and pick ups. Best Korean chicken! Crispy and moist and well seasoned as well

Crunchiest chicken I ever tasted! Truthfully. All the flavors tasted awesome. Even the spiciest chicken is still tasty and not too over powering. Quick fry. And the batter is not soggy and the sauce doesn’t penetrate the batter like it’s waterproof. Very genius.

BBQ chicken is consistent any where you go. Food is good but can take time. Buys its worth it. I did order a takeout order once and they gave me the wrong one.

My 1st time trying this place. I have a shellfish allergy so I had some concerns, the young man taking my order was amazing.
The food was 10/10.
A must go to try their wings (I had honey garlic)

Ordered the Ddeok-Bokki from Uber Eats for $14.95. I’m not sure if it’s made in house, but for the price, the portion is extremely small. As you can see compared to the chopsticks below. It tasty and flavorful but the price point for the amount won’t have me ordering again.

It was our first time trying this chicken BBQ restaurant. While the food was undeniably delicious, the customer service could use some improvement. We weren’t greeted with a warm welcome upon arrival, and it felt a bit transactional since you have to order directly at the counter. The staff were polite, but not very approachable or engaging.

That said, the food really made up for it! The takoyaki was a standout — rich, flavorful, and genuinely impressive. I also tried the cheesling, which did not disappoint. My favorite was the honey garlic, packed with flavor, while the galbi was just okay.

If they could improve their customer service and make the dining experience more welcoming, this place would easily be a 5-star spot!

Yes, this is the place you can find in Korea and advertised in a lot of KDramas.

Atmosphere: The Killeen location is Korean owned but the staff doesn’t speak Korean, nor do they play KPop. There’s clean tables and chairs, bachata/spanish music coming from the kitchen.. but nothing special about dining in. Plan on taking it to go.

Service: Staff was polite, answered any questions and were extremely attentive. Tipping is suggested at the register, even for to-go orders, so be prepared for that.

Food: I ordered a variety of things to-go and I must say everything was made to order or appeared to be made to order.

1. So ddeok so ddeok ($7) The flavor was good, the spicy level just right, the sausage good.. the rice cake/noodle was a bit gummy. I wont order this again but definitely worth trying if you haven’t.

2. Side of Rice ($2) Just a plain side of rice with no flavor. Cooked well, bland but priced just right.

3. Takoyaki ($9) 5 little fried balls with octopus in them with sauce drizzled on top. I didnt actually care for these but I believe that it was personal preference type thing. They were cooked and prepared just like the picture.

4. Pickled radish ($1) These seemed like homemade and absolutely delicious.

5. Ranch cup ($1)Nothing special. Not homemade or high quality… Use your own ranch at home.

6. 9 piece boneless chicken ($16) Honey Garlic. Good but not great. Chicken is crispy, hot and appears to be thigh meat. I think the honey was good but I didnt get enough of it and there was no garlic or garlic powder in my dish. I was a little disappointed with this dish.

7. 9 wings, bone-in, ($16) Galbi. YES, YES, YES … The flavor was AMAZING. They were hot, fresh, good size wings with plenty sauce. This was the best part of my entire meal. I’d come back just for these wings.

I review restaurants and new food places across Central Texas. I have no affiliation, was not paid or compensated to leave a review. ~Andrea

This is the best chicken in not only Killeen, but all of bell county! I’ve been to the San Antonio location and it was really good, but the Killeen location is better by a long run!

The chicken is so beautifully sauced and super crispy! We also got the rosé ttokboki and it was so good that I couldn’t snap a picture in time to include in this review!

The food here is so delicious, it can’t be beat! It may seem expensive but it’s so worth it! Go for the bone in soy garlic or honey garlic! It is to die for!

Not only is the food delicious, but the service is just amazing. 100/10 will be returning again!

I’ve been to the bb.q Chicken in Austin & Cedar Park previously, but first time at the Killeen location. I got the same order (chicken wings, flavor: secret sauce) and the sauce has been consistent at every location.

I’m not sure if this Killeen location has a different supplier for the actual chicken wings itself but the consistency/texture of the actual chicken wing was very off-putting, almost gelatinous. The flesh of the actual chicken wings, the color was grey/brown looking and did not taste fresh. The sauce was spot-on & was the only pleasant aspect of it.

Unfortunately, I only got through about 2 wings before taking them apart essentially and realizing they were all the same. I think it was an old batch of wings, but if not, it’s hard to believe they’re from the same distributors/suppliers at the Austin & Cedar Park locations.
