I forgot to grab his name, but the young man at the counter working on Monday January 5th during the morning was awesome! I don’t go to Panera bread very often, so I typically stick to what I know. But he offered me some alternative options and they were absolutely delicious! He was also very kind and personable. I work in the food industry myself, so I know it can be tough sometimes so I try to shout out the workers who come in and still do their best. I truly hope this review reaches him because his positive attitude and how friendly he was definitely made the experience both welcoming and memorable. The kitchen staff also did a great job and my food came out fast and hot. I definitely will be back!

I had a recent order that left me very disappointed, which is unusual for me as I eat at Panera Bread often and typically have great experiences. I ordered a whole turkey sandwich and a whole Green Goddess salad. Unfortunately, the bread on the sandwich was extremely dry and stale (I have never had bread like this at Panera before). Additionally, the salad contained very little lettuce and farro, which did not reflect the quality or portion size I usually receive. When I asked if the items could be remade, the staff member stated that this was simply “how it’s made,” which was discouraging and did not address my concerns about freshness or portioning. I genuinely enjoy Panera Bread but it made me think about if I want to ever eat at that location again.

I used to avoid this location but within the past couple of years they really turned themselves around. Staff is always super friendly, my food is always good and I never get wrong orders like I used to. Highly recommend.

I normally never complain about customer service but this lady at the counter today @ 1:20 p.m she was so rude. No greeting no smiles I asked her to help find the drink she just stood and looked at me with her arms folded. Everyone goes through something but u gotta put that aside when u r at work. Food already high $20 for 2 cups of soup and a small lemonade I at least expected a greeting and nice gestures sheesh

I went inside to pick up the food and the lady that was preparing the food was very unprofessional, rude, mean and made nasty comments.
Definitely I’m not going there anymore and will not recommend my family members or friends to go there.
Due to the nasty comments that she made I lost my appetite which made me go to the nearest gas station and toss it in the garage can.

What happened to this place? Drove there last night and watched a guy in the lobby look like he was going through the trash cans. Nobody was doing anything about it so I went somewhere else. Came back tonight and the guy was back. He must have been picking through the garbage for a half hour. Then there was also a man rolling a cigarette or joint at a table and another guy nodding off or sleeping sitting up in a booth. No food. Just hanging out. And as other have pointed out the bathroom is really gross. Place needs to be cleaned more especially at night when they aren’t busy.

This place has truly gone downhill since Covid…. I tried my best to give them chance after chance. And they get an “F” rating from me almost every time I try. The food is made terribly, the customer service is bad, and it’s always sticky on the floor when I visit. Today takes the cake… my salad had old wilted and spoiled lettuce. IT WAS SLIMY!! I know the person making the food today saw that it was bad… and they still gave it to me. Somebody call the health department!

We chose Panera for our Iftar meal because of its reputation for good soup, salad, sandwiches, and bakery items. Unfortunately, our experience at the Ford Road location in Dearborn Heights was far from pleasant.
The restaurant was noticeably unclean, and the service was poor. While we enjoyed the soups and mac & cheese, the salad was bland and lacked flavor. The most frustrating part was the coffee—after ordering, we found the pot empty. When we informed the staff, they said, “one moment,” but that turned into a 15+ minute wait while they brewed a new batch. No one checked the coffee before taking my order, and no one apologized for the delay. I felt ignored and disrespected by the staff.
Overall, this was a disappointing visit, and I wouldn’t recommend this location based on my experience. Panera should address cleanliness and service issues here to maintain its reputation.

Khalid at the front was super nice I came late and just ask for what coffee was bread newest knowing its hour before close not expecting it to be fresh he said I’ll make you a new one and insisted I didn’t ask but that good service

Pretty disappointed I love this place but I figured out alot today going to this location. Delivery is more like $5 and my food was questionable my $8 salad was teeny tiny I mean it was completely insulting and no meat just a ceaser salad then I figured out the Mac and cheese with broccoli is just noodles mixed with their broccoli soup. It tasted reheated. And finally my side seasonal fruit tasted like it been in the fridge for a week. I bragged to my son how happy I was they got delivery and just ended up highly disappointed
