I was honestly disappointed. The bagels are weak. I ordered a sesame seed bagel and there were barely any sesame seeds on it… like what’s the point? It felt like the bagel was missing something overall — flavor, texture, something. It just didn’t hit.

Whatever Works
Apparently, they can’t get their work schedule straight out. They advertise 5am and yet several times i’ve gone there and the door is always locked, Now the sign has no normal business hours.but everything’s all lit up inside. Then, eventually, they turned the lights off at 5am,the sign says open. some weird stuff going on there. I wait out front only for them to turn the lights out.The times that i’ve gone there, while the food is good, you tell them you want scrambled, egg and american cheese, and they end up giving you cheddar cheese and you get just folded egg. Scrambled is exactly what it means whipped eggs, fluffed!! You tell them american cheese, they put cheddar cheese on it. Usually I just take the mistake and leave because at least the food is good. That’s why I still continue to go there even through all their mistakes.Because the food is good. However, this morning is my last time ever stepping foot in that store.Because it’s a waste of time pulling up, thinking that the store is open and then you get a locked door. Who has time to waste when they’re trying to get something to eat?And go to work in the morning.

First time to the shop and it was amazing experience. Everyone was so friendly. I got back to my hotel room and started eatting and with every bite I felt more at peice. The bread is good, the meat is sliced thin and is beautiful. The muffins with the extra butter made me think I was in heaven. Its a great place to grab your next meal or snack.

Why would i ever pay 20$ for 2 breakfast sandwiches!? They charge extra for EVERYTHING and EVERYTHING is mid. Be so serious. 1.50 extra if you want it on a croissant, 2$ extra for beef or turkey bacon, 2$ extra for only egg whites no yolk??? It’s probably extra for butter and seasoning too. The employee got smart with us because we were confused on pricing and asked him to break it down for us ( mind you we’ve been here before and have never payed anything close to 20$) but it still wasn’t adding up to 20$ so we ended up taking our business elsewhere. which is fine. but how can you expect support from the community when your scamming the community? not sure but very sure I will never be back to this establishment.

This is the place to go if you want a well made bagel. Their everything bagel with Taylor ham, egg, and cheese was fantastic. They have muffins and pastries as well. Definitely will go again.

Listen if this the closest thing to NYC bagels im better off grabbing bakers dozen from dunkin. Their breakfast sandwiches at $4.50 each is a robbery with one egg, bits of bacon and cheese in a small roll. Did not try their coffee. Disappointed to say the least, my search continues for a bagel breakfast spot.

If this is considered close to NYC bagels then I don’t believe anyone has had a bagel from NYC. The bagel was old and stale hardly no taste at all. The cream cheese was edible. If it wasn’t for the cream cheese I probably wouldn’t have eaten the half that I did. Sorry just not my cup of tea!
