I’ve said this before but for a grill and tavern the pizza here is really really good.
It’s better than many pizza chains. I’ve heard it’s an old family recipe. We’ve had chili in a bread bowl, subs, sandwiches, burgers, and really amazing fried brussel sprouts.
As for the chili …in the bread bowl it had nice chunks of meat in it , great flavor, and it was a hearty portion.
In regards to the brussel sprouts the toppings and the sauce made it mirror fine dining.
Back to the pizza my favorite. You can taste the quality in the cheese and the ingredients.
The wait staff was attentive and friendly.
It’s worth a trip to this hidden gem in this little burg.

Delicious food at a good price! They also have yuengling beer on tap, which is new to michigan. We go about twice a week and always have a good time, plus line dancing on some Thursday nights. Finally our family deep well ran dry and the owners son was more than gracious to help us out and fill up a camping tote for drinking water.

Not a bad place to have a beer and some good bar food. Pretty family friendly, especially Thursdays with Country Line Dancing. Taco Tuesdays are great and they follow Fish Fry Fridays for Catholics. Nice atmosphere, decent food and servers.

This has become out go to burger place. Only thing I would change are the fries. Hand cut would put it over the top. Friendly service and the beer is always cold.
