We use to go here alot then we quit for a year we decided to try it again tonight and our food wasn’t all that for the price! My daughters food had hair in it the servings are small now the egg rolls had hardly any filling and no flavor, the fried rice also had no flavoring. I know the parents turned it over to the kids. I use to love this place but won’t b going back.

I usually never take the time to rate restaurants but Canton Garden is the absolute best food and service you can find around town, I just felt the need to share my experience with them after ordering at least once a month for the past year or so. The family that owns the place are the absolute sweetest most accommodating people I’ve ever met and the food is absolutely delicious. Whenever I’ve had a stressful day at school or a bad day in general I always order from them for some comfort and their sweet messages they write on the take out bags and outstanding food always make me feel better and reminds me of home cooked meals from mom (I’m a full time college student so that definitely helps me get through difficult days). Chicken lo mien and cheese wontons are my absolute favorite Chinese dishes and theirs is by far the best I’ve ever had. Definitely order from here, they’re amazing at what they do with the best service ever.

After seeing this restaurant’s high ratings on Doordash (4.8 stars after 668 ratings), we decided to give Canton Garden a go. Bad decision. REALLY bad decision.
We ordered Egg Drop Soup, Wonton Soup, Cashew Shrimp, Sesame Chicken, and Pork Dumplings…and we might’ve eaten 8 bites total. The Egg Drop Soup was colorless and flavorless. While I normally love the thicker texture of this soup, I honestly felt like I was swallowing someone’s loogie thanks to CG’s lack of seasoning and flavor. We thought the pork dumplings were supposed to be steamed, but PSA–apparently they come cold and nearly raw! The Cashew Shrimp and Sesame Chicken entrees were virtually inedible, slimy and flavorless–eating slugs might’ve been more appetizing looking back at the trauma our tastebuds suffered. And as far as the rice goes…it doesn’t. My boil-in-a-bag straight from the pot is more fresh and flavorful than what I put in my gullet.
We just threw away $40 worth of food.

I eat here frequently and the food and service never cease to impress. As a broke college kid I love the specials they have every week and cheap sesame balls they have for dessert.
The owners of the restaurant are genuine people who love to make great food and provide a great experience for anyone who comes in.

Absolutely love the place! Recently moved here for school and I come by often. Every dish is relatively unique and always delicious. The staff are always very friendly and have pretty quick service. The decor is beautiful and the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Plus, I love that they offer so many different ways to order— whether that be from dining in, ordering out, and even delivery through door dash and grub hub. I typically order either the Cambodian ramen or spicy beef and broccoli, Canton Garden is one of those restaurants where you never have to worry about your favorite dish not tasting the same as it did last time. 13/10 would recommend!
