My recent visit to La Cantina Loca was unfortunately disappointing. The restaurant, which serves traditional Mexican fare, had very few redeeming qualities. My wife and I started with margaritas, which were the only highlights of our evening.
For our main course, we ordered fajitas – steak for me and shrimp for my wife. Both dishes were subpar and lacked the usual accompaniments like salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. When we requested these condiments, we were given only a single ramekin of sour cream.
The service was dreadfully slow and inattentive. Despite being the only guests on a Friday evening at 6 PM, we experienced poor service. There was only one bartender handling everything while four other staff members stood around, with one even drinking a beer behind the bar.
To add to the confusion, our check included an 18% service charge for a party of one or more. When I asked for an explanation, no one could articulate whether it was a fee or a tip. Having worked in the service industry for years, I was taken aback by the lack of attention to detail and poor service during our visit.
If La Cantina Loca aims to be more of a nightclub, it would be beneficial to advertise it as such. However, if they truly want to be a restaurant, they need to focus on training their staff to improve the guest experience.

The restaurant greets you with beautiful decor, very kind and respectful waiters. The food and drinks are very good. It’s very spacious and provides a warm welcoming once you enter the restaurant. Great place to eat, drink, and take pictures.
