We had tried this place before and weren’t overly impressed.
Since they had a coupon on the SMART Card, we decided to give them another shot. This time it was definitely better than last time, but it wasn’t spectacular.
One plus was that they are owned by the same people as The Boulevard by MTSU, which we love. The menus were very similar too (if not the same).
The waitress was very friendly and helpful with the coupon.
So, while it wasn’t a home-run experience, it was still a lot better than our previous experience. I could definitely see us coming back if/when we’re on that side of town.

Ive been to two j’s about 4 times total. But this time was a completely different experience. I walked in and was greeted by a nice younger Male and was seated in the patio section. I was able to order quick (around 5 minutes of waiting) and was greeted by a wonderful waitress. She was very friendly and outgoing and I enjoyed every second dining at TwoJ’s. I believe her name was Kendall. I started off by ordering the ultimate nachos and then ordered the Baja fish tacos. The food was pretty great. Overall, had great food and an even better server.

I met some friends for dinner for a special bday surprise. Even though the restaurant was crowded, they were able to sit our party rather quickly. The food was excellent as always, but let me tell you about our server, Brynn! Brynn was just a delight! She was so knowledgeable about the menu and even recommended some things for a couple of us! Our cups never got low on drinks and she was constantly checking on us. At the end of our visit, she thanked us for coming and even wished our friend a very Happy Birthday! When I come back, I’m demanding to have Brynn serve me again!

Mahi mahi was not good. Tough fishy taste. Should have sent it back. Doubt it was fresh. The veggies and rice were good. Wonderful server. Had several experiences. Food has always been marginal.

My wife and I went to Two Js for the first time the other night! Our server was Austin, let me just say that this young man’s sense of professionalism is above anything I’ve seen amongst young people in today’s day and age! The food was great and it was an awesome atmosphere that’s all well and good but I think the most important thing I look for when dining out is the service and Austin provided excellent service! He checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed! My wife said when he walked away… wow how tall do you think he is?!

I had such a great experience with Mackenzie behind the bar! She was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I sat down. She gave great recommendations and answered every question with confidence. The drinks she made were fantastic, perfectly balanced, and came out quickly even though the bar was busy. Mackenzie is definitely one of those bartenders who elevates the whole experience. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Two Js for the first time and had a great experience at the bar. Mackenzie, the bartender, was knowledgeable and helpful with suggesting some of the fan favorites for food and drinks. She convinced me to try their Teriyaki Salmon and it was amazing!! It was a pleasant experience and I will definitely be back again.

First time trying two J’s. Had a free appetizer but had to order from the specific “entree” section. The Mac and cheese ball appetizer was good. I got the chicken and 3 cheese ziti. Probably would get something else. Wife ordered the big meatball and spaghetti, and I thought it was ok at best. I would try again, but hopefully some other dishes will be better next time
