I was so excited to try their food that I was willing to pay $70 of delivery for two sandwiches and french fries from their website. I got one sandwich, The cheesesteak, and some fries, but my second sandwich never got delivered. I called back multiple days in a row and kept getting promised. Somebody would call me back and nobody has called me back. Back. $22 for a sandwich that they won’t refund me despite the lady who answers the phones telling me that it was her fault this him which was missing. That’s not even the biggest problem though, The cheesesteak itself was terrible. The bread was phenomenal but the meat was chewy and full of gristle. This experience was so bad. I don’t know if I would ever try their food again, but I am incredibly disappointed at this experience.

Cheesesteak was far too expensive…$18?! Only one size option which is really small especially for the price. It took 14 minutes and I was the only person waiting. Finally, it was just a lousy steak. Tasted not great. Would not recommend! Just go to Wawa you’ll get faster service and a better sandwich.

Angelos was VERY GOOD… reminds me of a spot in south Jersey i used to go to all the time when visiting my grandparents… LOVE the seeded roll.. a lil bit of “a bite” to the roll makes the entire sandwich.. cant stand how most places in Delaware used extremely soft rolls… Good amount of steak meat with a balanced cheese to meat ratio.. didnt even need extra cheese like I usually have to ask for from other places. Good flavor, just all around good cheesesteak.. Tasted just like the Angelos in Philly… BEST cheesesteak in Delaware… Hands down

Idk if people in Delaware realize this but this is what a real cheesesteak tastes like. Next time I go only thing I’d change is to ask for a little more s and p but otherwise the cheesesteak is a almost perfect replica of the original location

Ordered takeout, best cheesesteak I’ve had in a long time. The roll was absolutely STUFFED with meat. Bread was so fresh and delicious. Will absolutely be ordering again.

Located in a food court downtown so parking kind of tough. Onions and cheese weren’t really well incorporated like at the South Philly. Waited about 20 minutes for the sandwich with no line to order. Have a kiosk to order. Whiz fries were very good, great roll as always.

We tried Angelo’s Wilmington for the first time tonight and everything was fresh, hot, and so delicious. What stood out even more was seeing the owner jumping in alongside his team, real leadership in action. It’s inspiring to see a business where everyone works together and takes pride in what they serve. We’ll definitely be back!
