I had a great dinner experience at 1933 Lounge with a few friends. The place was definitely crowded, which shows how popular it is, but it still felt very spacious and comfortable—not cramped at all.

Our server, John, was excellent. He was friendly, attentive, and made some really solid recommendations that we all enjoyed. The food was really good and well prepared. While the prices are a little on the higher end, the quality and overall experience made it worth it.

Service was a bit slow, but that was completely understandable given how busy the restaurant was. Overall, it was a very enjoyable night with good food, good service, and a great atmosphere. I’d definitely come back again.

Beautiful atmosphere and amazing food! Everything was done perfectly and allergy issue was taken and then the manager came over to make sure as well. I’ll say although everything was perfectly done the service really didn’t shine once we got seated. Our waitress had 2 other tables which were 2 and 4 people. We were also a table if 4. The restaurant wasn’t packed as it was 2 pm. She wasn’t attentive. It started with our devour menu. She went to make sure we could order dinner and didnt come back for almost 10 minutes. Then she didn’t bring us the menus so we waited another 5 for her to remember that part. Our drinks took about 10 more minutes. Mind you even the bar had no one yet and yes it’s the bartender at that point. Left a sour taste in our visit from almost the beginning. During devour you’d think everything shined but she had us distracted. In all I definitely recommend this restaurant. It’s beautiful and above board with their food. The service just needs to shine as much as the rest of it did

Loved the new location. The place was packed at 5pm, including the huge bar rail. We made a reservation on open table for 7:30pm but got to the hotel in Carmel early so we walked over to see if we could eat earlier. There were 2 seats left at the rail so we bellied up to the bar and got served drinks within minutes. We split a meatball and continued to drink our wine. The menu was full of small plates and entrees that sounded great. This location may be my favorite restaurant in Indiana. We will definitely be back when we’re hungrier. The Carmichael Hotel was within walking distance of the restaurant….. huge bonus!

1933 Lounge by St. Elmo was an absolute treat from start to finish. The ambiance is elegant and cozy—perfect for a special evening out. The service was top-notch: professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire experience.

We started with fresh oysters and sushi, which were both incredibly fresh and flavorful. The cocktails were also amazing—beautifully crafted and perfectly balanced. For the main course, the ribeye was simply outstanding: juicy, cooked to perfection, and full of rich flavor.

Yes, it’s a high-end experience, but every dollar feels worth it. From the food and drinks to the setting and service, everything was exceptional. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to indulge in an unforgettable dining experience in Carmel.

The seafood tower was exquisite. Best oysters I’ve had. The tuna poke was also outstanding. I got the ribeye with peppercorn sauce for my entree, cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious.

I loved the atmosphere, very well decorated. The bar was very nice as well.

My only note for improvement was that it took a long time for us to place our orders, we had a 6:30 reservation and stake arrived at the table at 8:20. The restaurant was not very busy on a Monday night. Perhaps the seafood tower order caused the waiter to delay.

Recommended by & came in with a friend who frequents here and my boyfriend and I were blown away! The restaurant / bar is gorgeous, food is so good, cooked to perfection, full of flavor. Great atmosphere, great people. Aaron served us and was attentive, warm, and helpful. We recommend the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Grilled Shrimp, Chicken entree, and the Filet. I am not much of a steak person but I would come back for the Filet. Definitely recommend this place and will be back whether it is for a date night, work outing, or night with friends… thank you again, Aaron!

Went to 1933 Lounge in Carmel for lunch and everything was on point. Big shoutout to our amazing server @niekiea_raven she was so sweet and took great care of us. I had the king crab grilled cheese, he had the crispy grouper sandwich, and for dessert: key lime pie for me, chocolate mousse pie for him. The space was gorgeous, and the food matched the energy.

1933 Lounge in Carmel is a cocktail lover’s dream. The Caviar Dreams martini lives up to its name, the Gatsby is smooth and timeless, the Robin Lychee Martini is elegant with just the right twist, and of course, the espresso martini is a must.

As for food, it’s good, but I’d recommend keeping your focus on the smaller plates and cocktails, especially if you’re tempted to come back twice in one week like I did. That’s where the magic really is.

The vibe is great, the décor is exquisite, and the whole experience just feels like a mood worth repeating.
