Great spot if you want real West Coast style Mexican food. No Tex-Mex here (that’s good, btw). The burritos are awesome and remind me of the ones I get in California. They’re big, fresh, and full of everything that makes California burritos famous. The birria quesatacos are also amazing and easily some of the best in the city. The consomme is so good that you’ll want to dip everything else in it!
The ambiance is pretty typical for a fast food restaurant, but the staff is very friendly and happy to talk about the menu. They’re clearly proud of the food they make, and it shows in the quality of the dishes. If you’re looking for great burritos and legit birria, this place is definitely worth checking out.

I have been to this location many times and have really enjoyed it. I am not the type to leave bad reviews because everyone has an off day. This mornings service and food was not up to the normal experience I have been used to here. The music was so loud that the bass was distorting the speakers. The young woman behind the counter was rude and dismissive. Fine, all that aside I was expecting my typical great breakfast burrito, I was sorely mistaken. My Steak and egg had no cheese, the fries were barely cooked (normally crispy and delicious) and the egg was extremely overcooked. I will be back however management should know about this experience.

Señor Burro is definitely a taste of the west coast! I love socal breakfast burritos and they nailed it with the hash brown. I added avocado to mine! Absolutely delicious. My husband got the steak and egg and he loved it. A socal breakfast burrito with a Big Red was the combination I’ve always needed. Their salsas are BOMB too. My favorite was the spicy one with habanero. The restaurant itself was very clean and the young woman working at the front was fantastic. She said she usually works the other location but was filling in on her days off. Very hard worker and she’s doing a great job. We will definitely be back! It’s worth the drive.

Great lunch stop with solid fish tacos and awesome vibes!
Tried Señor Burro for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! The fish tacos were the highlight. They were crispy, flavorful, and under $2 each. Easily some of the best I’ve had in a while at that price.
They have Horchata and Jamaica, but I was excited to see Manzanita Sol in the soda fountain. A major bonus!
I also tried the Carne Asada quesadilla, which was a bit disappointing. It was mostly beans and cheese with just a few small, flavorless pieces of meat. Would probably skip that next time.
Don’t miss the chips. They were super crispy and seasoned so well you don’t even need salsa. Seriously addictive!
The place had a chill vibe, played up-to-date reggaeton, and the staff was polite and helpful, especially since it was our first visit. Food came out fast, though we were the only ones inside at the time. Bonus points for having a drive-thru.
Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area, especially for the tacos and the chips!

I never thought I would say the words “This is my favorite Mexican” and “chain restaurant” in the same sentence, but this place has won my heart and stomach. They can easily give Taco Palenque a run for their money with how delicious and unique their food is!
I’ve been here multiple times in the past couple days because they’ve got a lot of food to try. Every single dish they have has been delicious and incredibly well priced. If you’re incredibly hungry or looking for a quick bite, please give this restaurant a try!

My family and I love it here – just wish it was closer to home (please open a location in New Braunfels)! The service is always top notch and it is clear the manager/owner is very serious about his customers leaving happy. This isn’t your usual fast food spot – the food here is always fresh and made to order. We love the burritos and rolled tacos! They also have taco Tuesday specials on their mini tacos and my husband loves them. I recently switched up my usual order and tried the birria – possibly the best birria I have had in San Antonio. I will definitely be back to try their birria quesadilla. Seems to be a popular item and looks delicious.

My wife and I were looking for good spots to eat and this place was recommended on the Eatmigos page. Had good Cali style mexican food and we’re happy to have found this place. Somewhat of a drive to get here but worth it to us. The horchata was good, tacos were great and i enjoyed my burrito. They had three salsas to try and they were all tasty. Only thing i would complain about was the tables were slightly dirty so we got our hand sanitizer and child’s baby wipes and wiped the table, and when we purchased the chips and salsa, they came in a plastic bag and were very greasy to point where they had gotten soggy and ended up throwing them away. Other than that, we would come back! 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered the Baja Fish Burro with ice tea. Inside was mostly clean and looked relatively new. Order was delivered to my table in short time. After unwrapping it, I noticed this thing was huge. I tried three hot sauces and settled on the habanero sauce. Flavors were wonderful and very filling. Service was good. For a fast food place this place knows how to make darn good burritos.
