Adorable deli with a cute outdoor patio. The owner was incredibly friendly and knew almost everyone’s name who walked in. We can’t wait to go back again to try more goodies. The brownies and sandwiches are absolutely amazing. Great kids menu too!

Found this little gem on uber eats and decided to just go in since it was so close. Such a cute deli. Nice indoor sitting area and some picnic tables outside which I’m sure will be great when it warms up. The service and food were equally amazing. I’ve had the CJ, Hot Chipotle and a breakfast sandwich and everything has been amazing & staff so kind. I’ve been 3x since last week lol. They are pricey but I don’t think anymore than anyone else in a small business trying to keep up the quality and the rising food prices. As a daughter of a father in the food industry I get it and it’s absolutely worth it to me!

I’ve been going to Sherwood Gourmet for years, and it has always been one of my favorite local spots. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and their sandwiches are seriously unmatched. Since the new ownership took over, the atmosphere has become even better, it truly feels like a family now. You can tell they care about their customers and their community.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Sherwood Gourmet for years, but the prices have gotten completely out of hand. They were already steep, and then the owner raised them again. The food is still good, but nothing justifies $15 for a sandwich that’s microwaved. It’s extremely disappointing to watch a place I loved become so overpriced

I finally tried the “Mount Vernon sandwich” at Sherwood Gourmet Deli, and there is absolutely no going back to any other sandwich. The mix of crisp green apple slices, delicious Boar’s Head turkey, sharp cheddar, and their secret sauce on an amazing French baguette is truly to die for.
I will definitely be back for more. I loved everything about this place, the staff is incredibly friendly, the space is super cute, and even the music is fun. Hands down, the best hidden spot in Alexandria.
