most terrible rice ever , so very mushy !!!! I think they pour the teaeaki sauce in with the rice and then the rice turns out like mush!
Then if u ask for extra sauce it’ll almost ruin the meal cause it’s just too much , but if u don’t ask then it’s bland!!

So when I order, I use to tell them not to put any sauce on my meal.
But when I get it, it’s covered in a lot of sauce anyway.
After a while, I gave up asking for no sauce,
And now they give me the plate with no sauce at all.

We are from Tennessee! We eat sarku every week at the west town mall location in Tennessee!! We are on vacation in California this week and thought we would try some back home food!! We had a terrible experience here ! The rice was super wet and mushy from the start before they even added the chicken ! There was peas & carrots in with the rice which in Tennessee there is not ! We ask for no vegetables! This tasted very badly ! Chicken was stringy & the employees was rude at the chef side !!!!!! Also free refill on drink in Tennessee, here they charge .65 cent for one refill !!!!!! But the food is just very gross and we have it to our dog the chicken in it anyways ! As not even a dog would eat overly drenched rice with tearaki sauce !!!!!! Biggest waste of $30 for me an my 10 year old child !!!

This place disappoints me more often than not and it’s so annoying because generally I like their food. I typically order via Uber Eats. They never give enough sauce, They disable the option to leave notes to ask for extra sauce and they don’t even have the option to purchase extra sauce! The only way to make sure your order is right is by goin there but it’s all the way at the mall! Everyone in a blue they might throw a small container that has extra sauce but I was only lucky to have that about twice! Any other time my food comes dry!! Please enable the notes section so we can request sauce!! Or even make it an option as a side on the menu! SOMETHING! Don’t just give dry food!!!

Me and my husband placed an order here, and after waiting 25 minutes, my husband politely asked the owner how much longer our food would take. He was completely ignored. He then asked three different workers, and they ignored him too. By the time he lost his patience and raised his voice, demanding an answer, the owner’s only response was to hold out his hand for the receipt—like we were the problem.

At that point, it had already been 35 minutes, and we noticed people who ordered after us had received their food 15 minutes earlier. When we finally saw them just throwing our food on the grill, we asked for our money back. They did refund us, but once again—no words, no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience.

Terrible service. Don’t come here if you want to be treated with basic respect. For $65, this experience was absolutely not worth it. Support other small businesses instead of this one.

Just amazing! Never disappoints! The double meat for $1.60 more is a deal! You could even add noodles for $0.55. I only wished you kept the buy one get half off the next promotion. I was bulking for the winter with that promotion lol.
